Too many crossovers. The ideal basketball move that is the most efficient is to make your defender lean to one side, then explode in the opposite direction. Doing too many counter moves gives your defender time to recover back his balance. Once you got your defender leaning to one side, explode right away, don't do a counter crossover because then you'll be going in the same direction as your defender. Counter crossovers are only good if you mix it up with hesitation dribbles.

@Willybekk That's the thing with most players especially and1 players. Dribbling without purpose. Coaches always say if you want to dribble, dribble towards the rim. Not do 3-4 crossovers just to make your dude "spin around" while the defense rotates and collapses on you.

All this are just fancy dribbles. Do you see allen iverson do 3 crossvers? All you need is 1-2 with good footwork and you're off. Good footwork is essential to cross overs and getting past your defenders. It's all abt footwork

If you have a defender that is equal or greater in quickness than yourself, that move wouln't work. I don't think it would work that well against an "OKAY" defender. Nice vid btw.

Sadly match ups usally put great shooters against good Defenders. And 8/10 the shooter will take it. Without Offensive and Defensive momentum your through. My point is, Defense or Offense. More things come into play, like where your at. Momentum, match ups. turn overs. Fouls, and O and D rebounds. Soo Defense isn't most important
