  • I'm glad i saw these guys back in 99 through 01 because I would be disappointed seeing them today.

  • @alexinsc2008 EDIT: wouldve loved to have seen their early years even more but i will settle for the black sails/art of drowning era because they still played the old songs i love.

  • you can totaly see davys gayness appear on stage for a split second

  • @pedro1774 haha what's so wrong about Davey being feminine? He's always been a bit flamboyant, especially during the Nitro Records era

  • The Pheonix?

  • this is an actual video where you can leave a punk comment not on SING THE SORROW VIDEO

  • people have to remember there not 20 anymore they got older they cant always have that same intensity as they did when they were in college or high school

  • @hellomynameisplanb

you're totally right. definitely less energy. oh wait... i forgot. LOOK AT THE MICK JAGGER. HES STILL AWESOME.

even so, less energy doesn't mean they have to make crappy music. the only song i like from their newer stuff was miss murder. and even THAT was boarder line. they are just a different band. i like old A.F.I.... its gone from "a fire inside" to "a female inside"

  • I'm sorry, but whoever the camerman was, sucks :x

  • AFI is great. Music evolves. People need to get over it. Punk is dead and I am proud of them to change with the world.

  • Haha, man you're an idiot. Last time I checked punk and hardcore were as good as ever. AFI just sold out and I say good riddance. If they don't feel like playing hardcore any more, that's fine. They couldn't even if they tried.

  • ok i agree with ur first three sentences but uhh...punk is not about 'changing with the world' its the exact opposite actually, real punk has just gone underground

  • @riseofravens i know that it's underground, but whereabouts underground?

  • @riseofravens

and it should stay there, because most punk that gets popular somehow gets corrupted, whether they want to or not.

  • Punk will never die... early afi will live forever!

  • I would pay any amount of money to see them before they made sing the sorrow.

  • totally agree man

  • back when they were amazing...

  • Das rite.

  • the art of drowning was the last album with some punk songs on it

  • They were so good back in the day. I wish they stayed punk.

  • sometimes evolution can be good, I kinda liked the direction they went in...I like their old and new stuff although im not a fan of December Underground...who knows? maybe they'll realize DU kinda sucked and they'll start reverting back to their punk roots

  • @ALLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAN well they grew up, you cant expect them to play the same shit over and over again, and if they did they'd be fucking bored of it

  • @ALLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAN

    MAN you guys shut up

you probably would have no access at all to AFI if it wast for their last 3 albums

and they would of probably stopped playing why would they keep playing when they make no money man you guys are stupid

  • @gEnArOtv It's for the music the fans not the money

  • @gEnArOtv Actually I did hear their newer albums before their older material and my first impression was that it was shit. It wasn't until after I listened to their older material (All Hallow's Eve was the first) that I began to like them.

  • LOL its still pretty funny.

  • I LOVE YOU AFI!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If you don't like it, don't comment.

  • omgosh. i wishh i saw them in concertt!! :(

  • I'm not even going to argue.

    -DCV-

  • Lol, there's no need to argue, they're fucking perfect hands down.

  • Just like celophane.......!!

  • Sorry to burst your bubble, kids.

    But AFI is not emo.

    -DCV-

  • they have changed and progressed so much its unbelievable

  • i can see why they left the scene, if all that pit was, was pushing and shoving-- and not even hardcore dancing or moshing at the least, whats the point of appeasing those fucking idiot meatheads who are ruining the show for everyone else anyways.

  • This is prolly their best song.

  • i love this song

  • i third it.

  • whats wrong with davey? and AFI? the old times were way better than their EMO times -.- makes me sad

  • these we're the good ol' days, but i still love AFI

  • I don't blame Mark at all for leaving the band. Davey looks like a circus clown now. But I still love em all. OLD AFI IS THE AFI I WANT TO SEE MORE OF.

  • my fave AFI song ever!!

  • THANK FUCKING GOD FOR SOME OLD AFI

  • love old afi more than recent afi

  • WHAHHAHAHAHAHA fuckin true dude ///

    but pre millenium Afi rocked!

  • Old afi :(

  • God. It makes me to happy to see someone else appreciating pre millenium AFI.

I think The Art of Drowning marked the beginning of the end.

  • love old afi.

  • wow, afi has really changed

  • back when davey was a hot guy *tear*

  • oh man i hate when guys take off their shirts in the pit. leave those shirts on, your slimy and gross.
