  • This was a great night and an awesome revival. I was blessed to be a part of it. I miss feeling God's presence the way it touched me at Brownsville.

  • I miss worship like this...thanks for posting...

  • The glory and anointing of God is still on this song so much so that just listening to it, you don't have to welcome the presence of God, He just permeates the room and your very being! I'm praying, believing and expecting an outpouring even greater than the one at Brownsville to pour out in my church - we are SOOOO hungry for more of God!

  • Мощная песня! Спасибо

  • Verse At peace we come to pray and to seek the Lord today For salvation From His hand, for the healing of our land. Let us pray. Let us Pray Chorus Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. For we have placed all our hopes In Thee. Verse For our sin we repent oh Lord. We believe Your holy words. Have Mercy now we pray and take all our sins away. ~Kyrie. ~Christe Bridge And if you embark iniquity Lord who can stand, who can stand the mercy Like a fountain flows from Your hand?
  • @LinxDinx That last few lines of your lyrics are incorrect. He says "if you would mark iniquity, Lord who can stand."

  • @chazerc Oh.. Ok thanks for the correction.. Maybe you could place the lyrics in the description area? It would be a really nice thing for your viewers to sing along with..

    May God bless you...

  • @chazerc it does sound like it but Lindell does say if you embark............

  • @austin04wright He doesn't. Turn it up really loud and you can hear the "d" at the end of "would."

  • @chazerc you are right i take it back.... great hearing lolz.... Stay Blessed.....

  • @LinxDinx "If You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?" (ps 131:3) Thats in the Bible!

  • Why is he the former music minister at Brownsville AOG??

    What happened to him...

    ~Jason

  • @JasonCole777 He is now the pastor of a church in Tennessee. Grace church I believe.

  • OH MAN!

  • awesome video

  • ES COMO TOCAR LOS PIES DE NUESTRO AMADO JESUS,ES COMO SENTIR EL HABRAZO DEL ESPIRITU SANTO.UN TOQUE DE DIOS...JEHOVA...SIENTELO EL ESTA EN TI...EL TE AMA CON AMOR ETERNO...FER

  • A time to every purpose: a time to gather stones and a time to scatter them abroad. What an amazing multiplication factor from the gathering and enlivening of millions to the scattering of them abroad through the nations. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

  • oooohh,if only I could be there....people of revival got thechance to set the fire allover the world don´t waste.....my nation is the next stop of God´s revival ,and I dare to say the last one on the planet...Jesus loves us all and wishes to hold every one, everyone,go seek the happiness of the Lord...

  • For real Lindell is gifted by God is songs are filled with inspirations.

  • It was great I will never forget Brownsville Revival.

  • And there it is, "Lord, if You would mark iniquity, who could stand?" I know for an absolute fact that without the pure, perfect redeeming shed blood of Christ, my final resting place would have been Hell. Thank you Jesus!!!!!

  • youre nuts

  • Очень круто. Я благословлён по уши этим видео и этим прославлением!!!!

  • @riversjoy

  • Personally, I feel Lindell has a special anointing for Worship. Out of all the music ministers God choose Lindell to lead worship in the outpouring. Some have said, that Cooley, Hill and Kilpartrick were the voices of the revival.

  • @mramp83 I loved all 3 but was more moved by the ministry of Michael Brown... God used all 4 of them mightily. I went to Mobile Alabama last week, where Kilpatrick and Coolley are part of another revival... it was really good.

  • awsome song! i love it! Lorg, have mercy!

  • I love Lindell's heart toward the Lord. I can't count the times I put this song on and just welcomed the presence of God!

  • indeed, it's a song which is very 'powerful' as it touch the heart of our loving Father :-D

  • I was there. It was magnificent!

  • Lindell Cooley is my son brother in law ..He is awsome . ..true man of God 24/7

  • I can see that that he is a true man of God. I thank God for his devotion and his true heart of worship and his Love for our Lord Jesus Christ. Lindell's pure heart and his humble attitude is inspiring and a joy to see. Treasures that everyone should seek in this life because they are far more valuable than all the riches in the world.

  • God bless YOU!

  • can somebody give me a website or tell me the lyrics for this song in English

  • Does anyone know of a trax for this song?

  • You should try contacting Christ Church in Nashville Tennessee. That is where the song originaited from. Lindell was the worship leader there before he went to brownsville. It was writen by Pastor Dan Scott. I was there when Lindell was there, I am still at Christ Church, but as good as the worship is now; I feel that longing for the way it was back then.

  • thank you for posting such a powerful pray that is so needed in our country today! keep praying for our country please!

  • Beautiful worship

  • i get chills every time i watch this.

  • amazing.. Praise the Lord!!!

  • Thank you for posting this video.

  • I heard Lee University's Campus Choir do this and I couldn't even stand...Such an anointing on this song.

  • I went to Lee :)

  • for our sin are great, we need the mercy of God

  • This is so anointed..I feel the Holy Spirit

  • I visited Brownsville many times and experienced God in a mighty way there. Lindell is still one of my favorite worship leaders. I am a member of what used to be known as the Smithton Outpouring and is now known as World Revival Church. We have experienced an upsurge of the Spirit since May 2, 2008. Momentum is gaining again as Daystar has been airing our Friday night services. Peoples lives are being changed and transformed. I pray that God will use Brownsville in the same way once again!

  • for three years solid, i attended these services. if it were possible to go back to any time in my life, it would be then. i just want to go back to that place i had with God. I don't find it in Alabama. its very heartbreaking.

  • HI ~ I was at the revival too, actually in this clip in the choir. I attend B'ville now and the season at revival is different, but worship is awesome come visit sometime.

  • Mocabean, after years of being back way up north, I moved back to the south. Georgia. I have been so disapointed. The fire burns on in our hearts, but it's still sad. I was at the revival from 98-01

  • what do u mean died down?!?....

My friend visits that church every summer...He told me so many great things that happened....That church is in revival to this day..the whole city of brownsville is impacted by it...

  • Compared to how it was doing in the late 90s, it has died down. I stood in line with hundreds and hundreds of other people in the scorching sun just waiting for the doors to open, and now that doesn't happen anymore.

I don't mean to say that the power is gone by any means, but only that after the four leaders moved on so did a large part of that church's history. It's not a dead church, but it's definitely not what it used to be.

  • I flew from Cali to Flo to visit this church and my life was changed.

    It was an amazing experience.

  • what happened to that church and that revival it was awesome

  • Once all the heads of the movement moved away, it kind of died down.

Michael Brown has his own school now.

John Kilpatrick, Steve Hill, and Lindell Cooley all have their own churches now.

  • Beautiful song!

Search 'Rocky Mountain Bible College" for a fantastic chorale rendition!

  • Beautiful song. Does anyone know where I could get the sound track for this song??? Just the music without the vocals...

    Thanks in advance.

  • Lindell truley showed me what worship is about and I thank God for him!

  • Being at the Brownsville revival was the happiest I have EVER been on this earth.

I think that only heaven can be better.

THe prescene of God was SO strong there..I miss it so much...

  • it doesnt end there revivals coming again revival starts with us

  • me too. i went to Brownsville School of Ministry and fell away and recently came back to Jesus and He is Faithful.

  • this makes me elevate my spirit! thank you Jesus!

  • Yes

  • This is AWESOME. REal anointed worship, and no one acting drunk! Praise God.

  • The nations should be on their knees these days, the end of days is coming soon the signs are really happening it is time that people repent, nobody will be able to run away from God when the judgement comes.

  • i'm praying for you.

  • organum: I hope one day you will see the light.

  • why do you say that what happened in your experience? I'd like to know b/c I'm also in the worship ministry.

  • Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for this video. I go to First Assembly in my city and I sing in the choir (awesome!) and I can tell the reaction to this song is the same. Knees bent and tears all over, but more important is the annointing that comes with this song. Thanks and God bless!

  • what does Kyrie mean???

  • Kyrie means "O Lord" in Greek, but it is also the name of a common liturgy prayer:

Kyrie eleison, Christe eleison, Kyrie eleison meaning "Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy".

  • Can some one tell me who the guy is that is singing..

  • This is Lindell Cooley. He has a church in Tenn now. I think the name is Grace church in Nashville, Tenn.

  • my brother attended the brownsville school of ministry for one year and then it split and he left with FIRE and Dr. Brown. He was the 2001 class speaker.

  • nice. that's awesome!

  • man i sound like im trying to prove something. sorrah yall

  • I went several times from 1997-98 and I loved it so much! I have backslid since, but I miss it sometimes... I can feel God when I watch these videos!!

  • Listen, you know what to do to come back to the Lord. From your own words you've said you know the Presence of the Lord. Come back to Him. He loves you and there is grace for you.

  • Thanks for that!! Yea Ive been thinkin about it alot lately and praying more.

  • I have visited Brownsville for a period of 2 years. I feel homesick to the beautiful presence of God in the place. Best time of my life so far.

  • Spred the news that God is moving again in Brownsville

  • This song makes me rember those monets that i spent in Brownsville Revival. I would not be what i am today if was not for God's move in Pensacola. Today i am en Evengelist and God used Brownsville Revival to change the life of a young teen boy whom did not want to know nothing of God. But God did it in my life. I wan to let you all know that God is moving again in Brownsville and there s something new and fresh from God. More people are begining to go. i am going in July.

  • I am a brother from the biblical town of thessaloniki in greece i am so touch of the spirit of worship from pensacola revival true revival

  • I think the appeal here is for mercy for our sins...hmmm, but we have to acknowledge our sins, so His mercy is to forgive us, and bless us to be His children, but if there is no repentance, then there can be no forgiveness.

  • I gave nothing and receieved much from God. Not once during my three trips to the revival did I hear talk about money other than a brief mention about giving to missions at the youth service.

  • i would like to apologize for my former reply to his comment. i misread it. i thought you said "i gave nothing and recieved nothing..."

    my bad. Peace and blessings.

  • Thank God for the memories I have of the Brownsville revival. It was a move of God that touched millions. How I long for another move of God.

  • METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • All backbiting, jealousy, bitterness and judgmentalness, must be subdued by a willful (humility)bending of our human will to the Divine Will of God the Father.

Nothing more, nothing less will accomlish the Father will for the human race.

  • If the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, would unite in its declaration of the Mercy of God the Father, such as is being sung about by Lindell, greater miracles would happen and more would be acomplished to bring the gospel to the six billion members of the humans race.

  • Does anyone know where I could get an audio copy of this song? The choir I was in in Louisville, KY (before I married and moved to Chicago) sang this a few years ago. I love this song so much. I used to cry when we'd sing it. It still gives me chills and I cry. What a blessing this is to hear this again!

  • I have a slightly different version but its the same song. Just message me with you're e-mail and i'll send it to ya

  • i have the original .(obviously). message me with your email if you want it. it's from "Live in Pensacola."

  • the cd is live from pensacola

  • I was blessed enough to go two the Revival @ Brownsville twice, I was a teenager at the time and it was the single most amazing experience of my whole life. I was given so much from God and I'm sure all those who also attended would agree that during the worship service, that place felt like it had no ceiling! It's like you were looking straight up into heaven. WOW!! I get chills reminiscing about it! God Bless!

  • I love his Brownville tape. He came to our church several times. A man who has been touch by God like so many others. Great singer and speaker

  • Lindell has his own church now in Nashville TN, Its called Grace church....Mighty Man of God!!!

  • lindell rox, we need more musicians with the convicting spirit that he has

  • Wonderful!

  • Lindell is such an amazing and anointed worship leader (or "worship starter", as he'd put it). This was still released during VHS days, which companies are just forgetting about. I wish they'd port some of their videos to DVD like Marco Barrientos did...

  • Such a powerfull song! Everytime I hear it, it just release the Holy Spirit! Lindell Cooley is an amazing worshipper! I love his heart, passionnate and desperate for Christ! Thanks for sharing this video! God bless you all!

  • i agree. this is one of my favorite songs.

where in chattanooga do you live? i live in cleveland.

  • I lov this song, I heard if the first time down in Brownville during that 5 year revival, I live in Chattanooga Tn but down there many times, I was changed by the power of God!! WOW JESUS YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
