  • I know a woman living in northern Canada in one of these. For anyone interested - MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A NICE CLIMATE!!!

  • do they make yurt garages because I don't want my hummer to get sun damage.

  • We all pay taxes. In the future, we will be paying 70% tax to support programs which everyone should be using rather than just a segment of the population. Grow food, the day is coming...

  • You can live anywhere, in any enviornment. Take Heminthins or Intestinal Nematodes (worms)as an example. They live inside your large intestine, eat your poo and raise families up in there. You don't ever hear them complain, do ya?

  • @umaxen01

Well they don't have to pay taxes....

  • Helped put a cooking stove into one recently build by good neighbours. Amazing, cozy, welcoming interior. Lovely to see and so much more survivable then concrete brick tombs in cities. I really do pity city dwellers when their landlords or bankers cut off their power and heat and increase rents at the same time. Only then will the "dislikes" get it when the cops arrest them for building a small fire to keep warm on cold winter nights. Oh well, too bad.

  • I like the one at 1:00

  • Awesome, I've been wanting to try this out and have been learning wilderness survival skills for a few years now so now it's time to make my move!

  • @Ichliebemusikundybd what part of the country do you live in? I build small homes, portable and foundation but I know an amazingly low priced company out of Ohio that builds log products for about 50 percent of the cheapest companies out there.

  • why not, i lived in a tipi for 4 years...

  • Unfortunately Fire Codes won't allow me to live in a Yurt. So I'll just have to suffer with this 5 bedroom house.

  • @walperstyle No one will be impressed by your childish comment.

  • I love the way they look.

  • what's the music?

  • By myself, with my dogs, No problem! I'd love it. Add a woman, ain't no way!

  • @Thekrega IT DEPENDS ON LOOKS AND WHAT U GOT IN YOUR POCKET

  • @Thekrega I have yet to find a way to live with a woman. They are crazy bitches.

  • @MickScarborough lol women say the same about men

  • @MickScarborough - So, you honestly believe that the problem is that over half of humanity is "crazy." The problem couldn't possibly be you? No. Of course not :P

  • @EyeLean5280 We are not talking about half of humanity. Homelessness in third world countries is a different matter but homeless in the developed world... YES they are crazy. If you cant handle the truth then thats your problem. I WORK IN THE FIELD. I can guarantee you do not. You talk solely from your ass. I talk from epxerience.

  • @MickScarborough - Now I'm beginning to think you are crazy. Your reply to me is a total non sequitur arising from you're being too lazy to figure out what I was reacting to in the first place (homelessness had nothing at all to do with it). Both your expletives and childish allcaps reveal you to be an excessively angry person in need of help. I'd say I hope you get it, but that would be untrue. I really couldn't care less whether you ever get well or not.

  • @Thekrega You need to re-evaluate what a "woman" is. I would live in one of these in a hot second.

  • @Thekrega

Why not? I'm trying to convince my husband and he doesn't want to. I would love to be in a small house. Less of a darn mess. lol

  • @Thekrega depends on the woman... ;-)

  • I would build a yurt as a graphic design studio if I could get internet in there some how. I'm sure I could...

  • no I couldn't

  • MONGOLIAN HOUSE 'GER'

  • awesome music! the house is very Gennie in a bottle...

  • I would really like to do it, but i doubt i'm allowed to. Denmark has very strict rules on everything. Insulation has to be at least 300 mm and have a certain effectiveness. There's even rules about how i should go on the toilet. Furthermore, it's illegal to camp outside a registered camping site.

Living in a ger would really be right up my alley though, living a simple life:)

  • @Rokkiteer tell denmark to fuck off. i told my parish (county) to fuck off they threatened me i threatened them and they never did anything

  • This would be awesome, not sure if I could live in one full time though

  • I would love this. I want to go back to the old ways of living in this world. We have handicapped ourselves by depending on modern day luxuries....like pets in a cage.

  • @PsalmsNmyrrh indoor plumbing is a plus :P

  • @lestat34208 LOL I thought it would just be a hole in the ground with limestone in it....or enzymes that break down human waste....my parents were southerners/farmers who used "out houses". They talked about the creepy things that would surprise you in there at night. I guess we would have to research digging wells for bath time too? I mean we are going to go way back in time. Im ready, what about you?

  • @PsalmsNmyrrh chck out pacificyurtsDOTCOM. Ill be buying mine there. there you can have a fully equip kitchen with bathroom all the comfort of homes. Ill be buying some land on ebay one day and live off the grid. These yurts are awesome!

  • I could live in a yurt, and plan on it in the next two years. Though my yurt will be a permanent structure made of wood, but I hope to live off grid by my 30th birthday, and I've been in love with yurts for years. Rock the Yurt.

  • @dead4fun Hope you can do it bud.
