What about his ability to draw fouls and get to the line? What about his ability to consistently create his own shots against set defenses?

Stromile Swift, Tyrus Thomas, and Anthony Randolph can all do much more than just dunk, but not one has flourished or been happy with his role.

Even if Stromile Swift can only dunk, which is certainly not the case, that's one more thing than Juwan Howard can do at a high level. Juwan has twice been chosen to play over Stromile, first with the Rockets in 05/06 and again this season for Portland.

Juwan is a boring, mechanical player who appeals to the conservative mindset about "proper fundamentals." Stromile is improvisational, not mechanical.

Stromile Swift is what Tyrus Thomas' future will be. An athletic freak of nature that never lived up to his potential. But I gotta admit, that dunk was just ridiculous. This and Kobe's reverse against the Hornets are up for dunk of the year (Kobe's reverse because it was the dunk that punched his ticket to the MVP).
