If you don't go through this cloud of ego's pride, you won't be able to reach or even aim for perfection. So is in car's world. The expansive cars are not (always) the best. For instance, a ZR1 or R35 would kick ass to this even if they're cheaper. Then, people don't look to be searching for passion ...

On a hill climp it is going to be much slower because you won't be able to use the power at all and it is going to be faster only on the highway! you destroy the on the turn adjustability of speed, the reliability, the sound and in most cases it is going to be slower. Well for drivers that don't know how to turn the wheel, thats no problem

Sure it adds weight to the car but that can also be beneficial with braking and exiting speed as the driver can put the power down sooner. Not everything has to be up to F1 specs to thrill people...

Exiting a corner at 70 mph you can be up to 150 in less than 5 seconds with a turbo'ed car like this. It takes 7 or 8 in a non turbo variant. The weight it adds is nearly negligable. If we put this car on top gears track it would most likely be one of the fastest around it. Ever.

So while you will be faster on the straights you will be slower wile turning and even if you will be as fast there is no reason for doing so except if you like drag racing. From point a to point b only a naturally aspirated upgrade might make you faster.

No but that car was pretty bad ass. 700 rwhp, not at the flywheel is impressive, 7 gears with that ultra quick shifting transmission ( Even though Porsche had one in 1981, hey I got to say somthing good about Porsche) and the engine layout in the 458 makes for a great handling car. They say it is twitchy but that just means it has a lot of grip. I think that once you get used to the handaling you would be able to overcome that. Thats a track car

@jimmaey they don't sound good, youre right. It's fact and everyone knows it. It's because OEM manufacturers, ALL of them, always use smaller/medium turbos to balance power and efficiency. UGR uses big Precision turbos which dont muffle the sound of the engine as much which are why cars with large turbos sound nicer and more like their true sound. Larger turbos don't suppress the glorious natural sound of the engines like OEM turbos do. Look at big turbo Supras, Much better than OEM counterparts

@thegizmoguy1 because i believe i have never seen a turbo ferrari... and why is that you ask? because when you turbo an engine, i won`t sound as good as a naturally aspirated that makes high revs. you want proof? hear an audi S6/S8 v10 and then hear the audi RS6 which has the same engine but with a stock twin turbo on it. Ferraru also build race cars, not drag cars. thatswhy they don`t produce over a 1000. 800 yes...a 1000 no :D
