  • this is truly crap. sad really, as not only were they a superb backing band for Numan (visual highlight being imo the TOTP This Wreckage appearance) but also did actually come up with some decent songe ontheir one and only album, in addition to those mentioned - eg. Take Me Home, Turn and On Reflection which featured a great viola middle 8 I am guessing perfromed by the peerless Chris Payne.

  • Great musicians but no artists.

  • As the backing band for Gary they were superb-unfortunately their own material wasn't all that good (which was a shame) except for Love Needs No Disguise which Gary sang on & Ex Luna Scientia.

  • >Limey Emo Bastards are AWESOME ; Leave him alone!!

The 00's have nothing on the 80's, <-

2011 New-age Country Band crap, wanna be stars of the present*

  • Awful

  • fuckin hell, sounds like some kind of prog rock shit!....lol.

  • @banditcountry Shut up you prick.....

  • I love this song! They were extremely talented and never, ever needed to be more talented than Gary, they did that themselves.

  • I've always been a fan of Dramatis; too bad this isn't one of their better songs (but it's better than "Lady DJ"); "I Only Find Rewind" would have been a better choice.

Still, great to see Rrussell, Chris, and Ced together.

  • Weak.

  • Holy shit...this is awful

  • this is really not the best number dramatis have made...but where is dennis haines?

  • This is what happens when great session musicians get delusions of being better than the acts they play for. Very poor.

  • What do you mean "session musicians" they damn well played hundreds of live concerts and were fucking fantastic, could play just about any instrument from classical to rock and would piss over 99.9% of musicians in the charts today.

  • @intheyears79to81 cedric sharpleys drumming is worse than a horse dying on a drum kit

  • @shugo541 And Who Said A Horse Dying On A Drum Kit Wouldn't Sound good?

  • Brilliant top musicians

  • top musicians, but rrussell could not sing, and this has to be one of their weakest songs.

  • Thanks for posting this, I had been looking for it for years!

  • The show was The David Essex Showcase - supposed to be an "unsigned" talent show but I think it was more likely used as a showcase for record companies' latest "talent"... :-)

  • Thats the one !!

  • horrible song--i hatet it already 1982

  • great upload

  • i always look for this video, thanks for sharing. too bad, dramatis did not make it...

  • Great video. Always liked Dramatis, sad they didn't keep going...

  • This was a BBC 'talent' show (I can't remember the name) first broadcast on a saturday night. If I remember rightly they came 3rd. Thanks for posting, I've often looked for this.
