Hi. I'm subscribed. How do you rate videos? Sorry, I don't know. Also, when you shift with t he 5 speed, do you have to push in the clutch with your left leg? The reason I ask is I was in an accident that renendered my left leg paralyzed and I only have a right leg for gas/brake. Can you shift without the clutch. thank You. sincerely, JAMES.
Right under the video, there are five stars- click on the 1st to 5th stars from the left. That's the great thing about EV's. Very few people even shift. The clutch is not needed in an EV, in fact, most people don't even keep it (I didn't). Most people just start out in third or fourth, and if you want to go faster, let off the throttle and shift (without clutch).
You should think about what would happen if u got into an accident man, pouting batteries along the front bumper wouldn't be a good idea. (after all batteries are not cheap and should be protected) if they are in the back you wouldnt have to worry so much
Well, I don't have enough room in the rear, plus you have to consider weight distribution. I might consider putting them further back in the engine bay.. maybe on the firewall, but I'm not sure.
