@karpovka Yeah, and maybe now Democrats will stop driving. Neither one is going to happen. Simple plan from a simple mind. Think of something intelligent, then get back to us!
@tamerica1 lol.Oh the human ignorance. Maybe u should talk to people who live on that coast: fisherman communities, restaurant owners, and folks whose businesses depend on the sea waters. Ask them if a few barrels of oil that they were able to extract was worth what they are about to experience. Better yet: go back to school and educate yourself a little on the situation with natural resources and the off shore drilling. Maybe after that I'll let you lecture me on the intelligence.
@lazyorc Galveston beaches are just fine. no oil at all has been on Texas coast so far as i have read etc. i live about 20 miles and keep up with Galveston. come on down.
Spent 2 yrs on a semi-submersible in '70s. WE tested our BOP before & after every major operation on every well, many to 15,000+ft, no problems at all. WSJ data: in 2002 the Gulf had 4k oil/gas facilities, 80k workers, 33k mi. of pipeline. '85 - '01, 7 billion barrels produced, spill rate = 0.001%. An opinion from an old roughneck-somebody decided to pull the mud out of the hole too soon before the cement job started & before the final wellbore testing was completed to verify the absence of gas.
ohhh bama
