@Zippo271 I don't know what video you're watching, because this game is nothing like CoD other than the fact they are both in the FPS genre. Also, I hate how CoD has become 'the standard'... with many comments on Youtube saying something like ''This game is better than CoD'' or ''This Game is worse than CoD'' etc.
@mattj8617 killzone and this game are exclusive to playstation because too many ppl buy xbox like us and dont know how good shooter games on the xbox are if it wasnt for halo these games would exist on either consoles
I'm excited, it looks like they took the best from R:FoM and Resistance 2 and put it together. They kept the tightened gameplay but brought back the radial menus and the health meter. Looking good Insomniac!
It looks pretty nice...and I love the resistance series but I don't know...at the same time it looks like been there done that kinda thing...I think there's better shooters on PC.
If they release a demo though and I like it I might just get it...

The alien bullets move like bullets now. Before i played the earlier games i would of loved that but after playing the games i'm disappointed by that decision...
@ripuli24 no, just updated. the thing that makes it look really diffrent, it the diffrence in art style of environment and change in color scheme. in part 2 there was a lot of color, and in this game they want the atmosphere in part 1 back more or less, which results in less color and a far diffrent look. part 1 was also less cartooney then part 2
why on earth did they ditch the style of rfom that was by far better than number 2 which was another generic boring shooter, this looks fun but unoriginal resistance could have been a classic series but now its like oh are you playing halo wait no its resistance 2 why are you playing that

No its nothing like the first one, the weapons look and feel entirely different, they have left the historical perspective and have pursued the game with little feel that it is anything different from modern day or other sci fi shooters. Atmosphere was entirely different its a different medium of telling it, the first game was grey for one thing lol.

The weapons and feel are supposed to be different. Its years after humanity was defeated, the Chimera destroyed everything and humans are stuck using scavenged and modified weapons. Comparing it to a futuristic shooter such as Halo like you did before is ridiculous, it is just an average sci-fi shooter.
The first game was gray because the Chimera were using Spires and kept....
@mrdoublybubbly ...destruction to a minimum. It was cities just abandoned overnight. Resistance 2 was brighter because America was still in the first stages of total invasion. The atmosphere was more accurate to the timeline than R1. Resistance 3 has an atmosphere of destruction and hopelessness. If you listened to the interviews, they are no longer collecting human bodies, they are just killing everything and brutally as they have to. This atmosphere is accurate to an "End of the world" feeling
@RavenXll your point is very valid. I loved the first one so i was very annoyed that things changed drastically for the second, they turned away from a historic sci-fi experience i felt, i loved the idea of the early 20th century alternate history. I guess that the way in which resistance 2, and resistance 3 is made attracts a wider audience and judging from the trailer the gameplay will rival killzone 3, but the story in number 2 was really lacking for me.
looks like a sad version of CoD lol. and Cod is sad enough

It looks pretty nice...and I love the resistance series but I don't know...at the same time it looks like been there done that kinda thing...I think there's better shooters on PC.
