i guess this really depends on how successful the architect is.

@piggytripod If making lots of money is important to you, you don't want to be an architect. Only an architect who is the principal of a large firm with many employees, or is also a commercial real estate developer, or is famous, will get rich. Only become an architect if it's your calling.

When i was little i wanted to be an architect, then an engineer, now i want to be an architectural engineer. What's the difference though, which one is better ($)?
