  • How much thrust?

  • It's fan with highly flamlable thing.

  • use a piezo igniter from a click lighter, u could just use a micro servo to use it:)

  • can you send me plans please?

  • when i was watching another video i saw this engine but i thought it was a coke can rocket

  • and you'd have an afterburner on an EDF because......your a tool?.......

  • @Daimo988

He was obviously doing it as a novelty...

  • how did you make it

  • My ears are jealous of my eyes

  • Comment removed

  • But will it blend?

  • have no idea what you just done

  • try a glow plug for a nitro rc motor

  • awesooooooooome!!!!!

  • the tecate turbine? they told me it was merely a myth!!!

  • thats cool but is there any thrust?

That's Batman world ! But Batman don't actually fligh.

  • fire hazard

  • That was the Bart Simpson version, right?

  • Tecate!! jaja

  • An energy drink can. I've got to try this.

  • buen soplete

  • for a small lightweight ignition, try a small cheap stun gun/ taser gun..if youre using propane that should light it

  • I suposse that you used a very high speed edf, wath temperature did you get?

  • Nice video :)

  • FAKE

  • Remember kids DO NOT try this at home!

  • That is called a motor jet, designers toyed with the idea in the 40s especially the Italians. It's a proven concept.

  • if you tell me how you made that i can give u an EXCELLENT and LIGHT and CHEAP idea for an ignition system

  • Aerospike ?! XD

  • its the 21 st century... surely a video should including sounds for effects dont u think ? or maybe youtube has copyright shit again...

  • Holy crap video not even audio. FUCK THIS SHIT!

  • must have flame holder.

  • I LOVE BEER....

  • what is it good for ?????

  • nice thing to light up cigaret

  • @wajietaus in fact good enough to light a cigarette of yours, of all your friends, the creator itself and his house as well ;-)

  • i dont see lots of luck in getting any extra thrust at all. to take advantage of an afterburner you need at least some nozzle pressure ratio and in this you have very very little...

  • ROBIN: Atomic battery to power, Turbine to speed.

BATMAN: Roger, ready to move out!

  • That is awesome!!!! You dont need any sparks just use a lighter, as simple as that.

What brand of beer was it?

  • @maximumlimit teacate?

  • No this can work. What you say concept, was conceived before you were born. Little creativity and poor construction. Sir: The technology does not come with you, there are a lot of studying to make something useful. Greetings.

  • @gusmarr1 what a DUMBASS comment.

  • create a better combustion chamber. the air has no time to heat and expand. we're only talking micro seconds, but that is the difference between working and not working worth a crap. also your fuel rate seems weak. i use an rc pump. i forget its gph but its not that large at all. i've moved away from this style and use propane now so i don't require a pump anymore but the system did work very well. it was used in my f-22. she has a w/s of 52in. with twin 74mm. EDFs. weight is about 16+lbs.

  • try a glow plug like in turbine engine.

  • there is no way that thing will stay lit with an 70mm edf at full power.

  • @IJackDaWackI of course there're lots of ways.. 70mm edf compare to high pressure compressor of real jet engine is nothing, but you can see that its after burner stays lit during operation. poorly designed flame holder would be enough to solve your lit problem. peace..

  • the sparker in an electric lighter would work. it is called a piezo electric sparker and people use them as ignition for jet engines, potatoe cannons, and just about anything that uses fire.

  • pretty darn col...have you implemented your design on a real plane yet...I would LOVE to see that,

  • is this really for EDF??? or is it for turbine.

If for EDF, can you please put more detail on how you built it.
