  • that was pretty damn tough. i felt those low kicks white guy, you stayed in there strong

  • Is this sensei still teaching? Anyone knows?

  • This sensei's moves look the coolest I've ever seen. Amazingly cool and he truly moves like Kazuya of Tekken.

  • That is just old school Japanese karate body conditioning.......if you think that's bullying ..you haven't seen anything!!

  • What would this guy do without a mirror. He's a arrogant Bully. Dont give that, "He cares for his students," crap. He's a bully with no regard for his student. Its not a Ashihara thing. Its just HIM!

  • @kihonfc Any martial artist knows conditioning your body for taking hits is crucial. He just isn't as sore as his student because he's conditioned. His pupil will be the same one day

  • I like the style. But the teacher seems so arrogant to me.

  • this videos from Ashihara karate usa, suck , stop embarasing ashihara karate with your bullshit videos..........

  • Looks pretty gay to me.

  • @SuperSneakySteve Im sure you would know. I would wager you cant even take one punch

  • A SENSEI IS HARDENING YOUR BODY FOR HIMSELF. WHAT AN EXCELLENT TRAINING THIS IS!

  • you got HEART!!! most def.

  • I'm sure it's really very painful

  • love it.

  • 鏡見過ぎwwwww

  • For a regular man it is hard to understand this kind of training. He could think they are hurting each other but they are not beginers. I think at the begining they are not hitting such hard

  • こういう練習

    技術も何も得られないし、変にケガするだけだよ(笑)

    かわいそww

  • Osu!

  • Osu!

  • The people disliking this video simply don't understand the point of this training.

  • Why people hating these vids , i don't get it

  • owned biatchhh!!

  • Osu :)

  • Ouch!

  • , Is this style similar to kyokushin tae kwon do and ishin ryu karate?

  • @fightlover187 The founder of Ashihara is a student of Mas Oyama, founder of Kyokushin. So its similar.

  • @supernoobice I see we don't hae these kind of fighting style schools in Houston

  • @fightlover187 i believe kyokushin would be more wide spread in your area. its quite popular. So look for a kyokushin dojo or shinkyokushin dojo. You'll still have the same mental and body training like these two on the video.

    Respect. Osu!

  • @supernoobice osu respect to you to, this style look so interesting and awesome, if im lucky i'll probably find one if i google it, the mental and body training look so intense nd perfected if i do see one im try it out, thanks alot and do you take kyokushin karate?

  • @fightlover187 Yes. I'm training kyokushin. Bareknuckle sparring for the win. Good luck. Osu!

  • @supernoobice Oh cool I hope you make it to the top Osu!!!

  • OMFG someone call greenpeace !!!

  • 76 peole don't know what this drill is for.

sad sad people. they don't know what kind of conditioning they're missing out on

  • how come sensei gets to throw five to his three, or three to his one?

  • If you look into Kyokushin karate nowadays, they've added some influences from Ashihara karate, wich i think is good. If you REALLY wanna grow as a kohai, you should lay politics aside, and just focus on the real issue. There aint no, and never will be a "this is better then that" and so on. Everything is up to each and every individual. Everyone has there limitations, and build there technicqus upon that. One wise man said "i cant make you that, but i can make you what you are"

  • One should always strive, to be the best one can be. Not thinking one specific style or system should bring this. Hideyuki Ashihara, founder of the style... thought in many ways, that Kyokushin in wich he co-founded Ashihara karate, were TO limited. Only focusing on building power, when there's alot more to it. He was undefeated in the kyokushin way... and he thought that this is wrong... someone with less power, phsycially, should still be able to bring down a much more powerful emisary.

  • Dam thats one tough little asian guy.

  • gay

  • Today after Ashihara and Enshin Karate-do established itself as Sabaki Movements ; there are many offshoots of these 2 great styles. Sabaki is still Kyokushin at HEART and Enshin is Ashihara at HEART too as well as Kyokushin.

What i cannot tolerate is when someone who quit from either Kyokushin , Ashihara and Enshin and then formed their own bullshido form of these 3 great styles. Especially Jissen Ryu is fake. They imitate only.

  • さすが歴史の浅い国の人間どもだ

    "No pain, No Gain"

    Osu

  • @Asiroth07

    Hey man

Stop hating on Ashihara Respect the dojo

I bet you they teach you respect in Kyokushinkai, but you just haven't learned it yet

  • @aztekbl00d yeah haha I do Iko-1 and they teach respect haha ^_^ I agree with you bro!

  • Horrible Performers. better study Kyokushinkai a real full contact style of Karate.

  • @Asiroth07

    Hey man

Stop hating on Ashihara Respect the dojo

I bet you they teach you respect in Kyokushinkai, but you just haven't learned it yet

  • @Asiroth07 Ashihara is a well respected kyokushin offshot.

Any kyokushin guy who knows his stuff, also know to respect the ashihara style and fighters.

If you do not know enough to be respectful, atleast be polite.

  • Wow...this is the manliest thing Ive ever seen, and I have seen two bears get into a knife fight. Awesome vid, OSU!

  • @Yoruichi13 "manliest thing Ive ever seen" ? LOL. (I am pretty certain that "manliest thing ever" it is not the essence here.)

  • 館長が来て指導している際に、この弛んだ状況は何だ!

  • i love to see that guy suffer hahhaha, with all the respect though. Thats whats knockdown karate is all about. Keep it up

  • Молодой каратист бьет только по ногам, а сенсей бьет парня пяткой по яйцам. На последних секундах он ему вообще яйца отбил!

  • this sensei really knows what he is doing.

    OSU!

  • Si te quedas de pie dando golpes...mas vale que seas buen encajador y mejor golpeador,o....game over!!.

  • Damn! I love these conditioning drills. They always hurt like hell, but no pain go gain:D. Osu

  • after a month of this you can become a friggin tank...its very awesome :D

  • he's a wanker bcoz he keeps checking himself out in the mirror. If he's a sensei he shouldn't need to check his technique all the time, especially during a conditioning drill.

  • put on a black belt, go to his school, and tell him all of his brown belts are "wanker," please, do it, and let me know, I would love to see you go and get a lesson on respect, osu! ;o)

  • i didn;t say he wasn't skillful, i said he's a wanker.

I don't like to fight but if he wants to punch me in the chest because i called him a wanker, that's ok i'm sure i'll live

  • @jackjackie17 no fight one of his brown belts, wanker

  • you have a point there..why does the sensei have to be such a hard case..an injured student learns less. I bet the guy he was torturing could actually kick his ass in a real fight!

  • lolollollololool lolo lolo

  • whay U.S.ashiara do not go in denmark for the word champions?

  • don't you see why? :P

  • damn how old are u? go to school!

  • yo mama

  • lol at the little jap thinking hes all hard

  • yeah great sportmanship kicking your opponent in the nuts and then walking away

  • Only on the last part.

What's the big deal? He's the teacher and this is practice.

  • its actually a good way to train the body to get used to being hit and still having to fight on... but that they are crap at doing it proberbly is another side of the story!!;)!

  • Ibuki!

  • these guys hit like that because that is hardening training.they are not supposed to block/hit back.they are supposed to try out techniques and different range on these and just take the hits.this is a slow kumite not a full match of kumite.why don't they hit on the face?because the ashihara rule is not to hit the face with the fists.yhou are allowed to hit with leg tehnicues

  • wtf? why these guys just hit in stomach and like pussys? why not hit in face?

  • They're hitting each other on purpose.

  • They fight in tournaments where other fighting styles like kung fu and mauy thai come to compete. Then they make the rules so you can't hit in the face! Then claim to be superior to the other styles! LOL! Thats why the do it!

  • haha, imagine allowing face punches without gloves, this is a martial art not felony fights

  • You joking me?! How is this productive training? Its slow and the other guy isn't allowed to block/parry/move! Just hit a fucking bag, or condition your body through other means (e.g. medicine ball). Here's an even better idea quit fucking about with karate and take up muay thai!

  • They claim to be superior to mauy thai because they invite mauy thai fighters to come to their tournaments where punching to the face is not allowed! LOL!

  • unless the fighters train in boxing and grappling, they would not be successful with just their style of karate in mma. in mma it is not the style, as the sport is a mixture of styles. sabaki (without a gi) is difficult. when blocking a boxing style punch, it comes to fast to get to blind spot positioning.

  • I'm Joe from Ashihara Karate Kaiken,Singapore.

My sensei fighting style is pretty much the same way, not to mention extremely heavy on impact(I'm not sure how they execute it, though it seems like they're not using much strength) But I agree that Ashihara Karate is absolutely unique. I hope to see a really good Ashihara Karateka(maybe jujitsu trained as well) take part in UFC one day! Osu!

  • i would rather like to see an Ashihara Karateka winning an All Japan kumite tournament, UFC is for brawling cage dogs

  • I agree with you about 'brawling cage dogs' comment, unfortunately the world doesn't see it this way :(

Everyone thinks that UFS produces the most elite fighters(sad to say few have see people like Joko Ninomiya fight!). So although UFC may seem like just a street fighting cage brawl for brutes, if an Ashihara Karateka could use the 4-line motion concept of fighting & win it, it would open the eyes of the martial arts community :D

  • You and that idiot of chinochan are really ignorants morons, UFC and Pride FC produce and produced athletes, and the best fighters in the world. It's not about who's got the best knockdown karate, or the best wrestling or boxing skills, it's about who's the best FIGHTER. That is why they cross train and have amongst the most rigourous training in the world. MMA is no brawling, and with such ignorants statements, you're a disgrace to your martial art and to any real MA.

  • You have one strong point in your rant, Cross-training is good, but it's only content if you master each style you train in. Also, if UFC(street fighters)puts out the greatest fighters in the world, than why do they retire so quickly? why is there a new champion every month? Go train in A Kyokushin, Ashihara, or Enshin dojo and then try to tell me that kickboxers, Pride, or UFC fighters are tougher, stronger, or have better technique. Emphasis on the technique, UFC FIGHTERS TECHNIQUE SUCKS DICK!

  • What?Their technique is better than any of your fighters' in your dojos, you can't even compare a professional fighter's technique to fucking amateurs, they get paid to fight and that's a big big difference. They do not retire that quickly, in fact MMA fighters retire much older than most fighters from other full contact disciplines, and when they retire, most of them still train and fight as much (or more) as any of you a-holes.

  • Pro>Amateur level, simple as that.

  • Hahaha just in case you didn't notice, karate teachers get paid to teach (for many years), anyone can get paid to fight.

  • Karate teacher is not a profession in case you didn't notice dipshit, you cannot make a living off this. Kickboxing and MMA fighting are, however, professions. And most karate teachers who get paid a "lot" are McDojo owners/teachers, most true karate teachers teach for free (or for a relatively fair amount of money), and only ask money to pay the dojo or gym they use.

  • First of all, I never said teaching karate was a profession. Secondly, You can make a living as a karate instructor. Thirdly, asking money to pay the dojo or gym they use would be charging your students. Please tell me, who have you trained under to make you so wise about which martial arts styles are superior? As for as I've seen from your videos you are just a kick boxer.

  • I've never said you had said teaching karate was a profession, and karate instructors who make a living off teaching karate are MOST OF THE TIME McDojo owners, are you stupid or something? Most good or great karate teachers don't do it as a way to gain money, for example I've got a friend (older than me) who teaches Shotokan karate (he's in his thirties) and he does it almost for free. And usually when they teach for free they charge their students money to pay the place they use,

  • wich is normal since the teacher gives his own time to teach, for free. And don't put words into my mouth, I've never said x martial art was superior to y, unless one of them is 1)krotty 2)not full contact 3)doesn't train alively 4)realistic, and ashihara is none of these. I did say however that a pro level is not even comparable to an amateur's level.

  • You must be retarded if you can't get it, a pro trains ALL THE TIME, even a full-paid karate teacher doesn't because, guess what, he has TO TEACH you fucking moron.

  • oh i love those stupid discussions:

1 point. "pros" like u call them train only as long as they fight as "pros" all the time. before and after that they does not train that much anymore. and also some of those karate teachers were pros in their art before they startet to teach. a pro mma or kickboxer isnt worth more then a pro karateka. and if u are an example for an mma or kickbox student sokaku, i def. prefer karate because there u learn some respect too.

  • Yes, and who did the professional MMA fighters learn from? Amatuers you fucking idiot, MMA is an acronym for Mixed Martial Arts, so they trained in multiple styles of martial arts under "amatuers" at the root of it all, You're extremely naive.

  • Your comment doesn't make any sense. I was talking about karate teachers not MMA coaches? And most MMA fighters don't train under karate teachers. It's impossible to be an elite fighter in each disciplines involved in MMA, all at the same time, it's humanly and physically impossible.

  • good luck with that ;)

  • Wow....you really don't have any Idea what the UFC and MMA are....

  • It's all in the hips man! OSU!

  • Nice way on how to get a liver laceration or a ruptured spleen. Once in a while should be ok, but everyday?

  • Pussy.

  • it's ok man...their jsut made cuz they know what it feels like to get taken down and GnP'd or submitted or outstruck by someone who trains forreal...not trying to diss Ashihara cuz it's the ral deal but most other traditional martial arts are crap because of the way they train

  • Nice training!!!!

    Don't stop bro!!!

    Be strong!!!

  • Nothing better than seeing your older brother getting smacked around!

  • very gud vid...OSU!!

  • Where is this dojo?

    I wana train anyone?

  • good endurance training. more!

  • Good conditioning! I agree with adolfo excellent spirit coming from the gringo(white guy), that last kick though, looks like a groin shot?!

  • That white guy is my brother!! I enjoyed the last shot...he got his butt kicked!

  • very good! thats why i love ashihara and thats also why its the best martial arts there is!

  • Osu!!!very good conditioning for getting used to contact in kumite and good spirit from the taller guy .

  • good training.

    Knockdown karate all the way.

  • good
