This is the original version of this song, right? I'm not sure which version I like more. This one with it's acoustic simplicity and David's unblemished passion, or the other one with the music backing up his already perfect voice. Either way, the song's always been amazing. And the metaphor at the beginning of the song is great. :P

I just love the lyrics! I heard the other other version first but I really enjoy this one better, it matches the lyrics more making it more moving and more sad yet hopeful like how the lyrics are.
