Also the endorphin release from the capsaicin may have gotten to my head and made him seem like more of a douche than he was... But I do stand by the opinion that the act should be toned down a bit.

Just my opinion; Wrong choice of words at first. Either way, The Source challenge is fun and a must for any pepper aficionado, just go in prepared for the act.

To further that; He's cool until you do the source challenge. We had a chat about growing Bhut / Naga Jolokias and he gave me some tips, which I thought was cool, but once I did the challenge, he was just downright rude.

I don't think that is his genuine character, I think it's just a show he puts on, but being a business owner myself, I can see how that may be detrimental to business when other customers see the act.

Don't get me wrong; he knows his stuff when it comes to peppers, but I wasn't feeling the arrogant vibe and repetitiveness. Not saying I wouldn't go there again, it was a great experience, but in my personal opinion, the carny act needs to be toned down a bit.

Yeah the guy who gives you the sauce is a fucking idiot douche. I just did "The Source" and he kept trying to make me admit that it was the "Worst pain I've ever felt", and got pissed that I wouldn't. I've got 100+ bottles of hot sauce so I wasn't exactly new to the game, but had never tried one that hot. THEN, they charge you $0.25 per paper towel to wipe the snot off your face, and $2.50 per thing of milk.
