@videonfan So you prefer atheism to Orthodoxy. That is your prerogative. We will not harrass you about your choice, although you might want to examine the downsides of atheism.
when i did the ">" symbol and when i always do it i mean i think something is better than something. You clearly misanderstood me but it is my fault since i didn't explain properly
In this message i mean that orthodoxy is better than atheism
I have read many books regarding this subject and I can tell anyone that these "ET's" are not our friends. They are nothing more than fallen angels with one goal, to make man come to the false realization that Jesus Christ is not the unique savior of the human race, that all religions are correct. That they are here to help us on our journey to supreme spiritual and physical evolution...it is in fact a diabolical illusion.
@ajcastaneda413 Acceptance of the existence of UFOs as real or as demonic illusions: either one of such views is just kooky madness. The more UFO-ers I correspond with and talk too, the more it appears that only people with psychiatric illnesses actually accept them in any form, with any interpretation.
The UFO phenomenon is very real...scietists and doctors just don't know how to explain it. Is it physical? Psychological? But if one attempts to observe this phenomenon through an orthodox Christian eye piece, you get a very different outcome.
Again I wanted to say (Archbishop Lazar) your videos make me extremely comfortable studying orthodoxy and you do well representing your faith. God bless you.
I once went to karoulia on Athos together with an arrogant Bulgarian fellow. He wanted to tempt an elder there, so he asked if UFOs could be people from another solar system. The Elder replied, "Could be. Perhaps they are coming on pilgrimage to the Holy Land." Of course there could be other planets with life. We should not be so arrogant as to think that God stopped with us, or even that be began with us. Hopefully if there are more humans they are more faithful than us.
Given the size of the universe and the number of stars and sheer quantity of "stuff" it contains, it seems reasonable that life could have evolved elsewhere too. I wonder, is there a chance that there exists another form of life created in God's image in addition to humans, to whom God also reveals Himself to?
I personally think it's highly improbable (as is evolution) but not impossible.
As CS Lewis said - "It is...the essence of Christianity that God loves man and for his sake became man and died. But that does not prove that man is the sole end in nature"
Vladyka, thank you for addressing my question in this video. As a recent convert from Protestantism, I undoubtedly have significant baggage to discard in the acquisition of an Orthodox phronema.
God bless you.

@ajcastaneda413 I am not the least bit convinced. However, if you accept the stories, that is your right to do so.
