  • hands down the most amount of weight ive seen anyone do on the strict press for more than 1 rep. The movement is much much harder than the bench press. great job man

  • Now see in most cases I would call someone doing this a bitch and not impressive but since you can do that with what looks like no/very little leg drive I say great job.

  • how do you stop your back arching? like when i do heavy OHP's my back feels like its going to snap in half.

  • You have to learn to stay tight and neutral. Most of the time if I'm arching back it's because the weight is too heavy for me to strict press. Arching back isn't that big of a deal as long as it's within reason. Since I was training for a strict press I only used weight that I didn't have to bend my back for. Lots of practice! I do nearly all of my shoulder work standing.
