How odd. Because a similar incident happened in Sydney, Aus. last year. If you google "Last RAAF 707" or "Die Hard in the CBD?" you can view the article about it.
And further searching shows another similar incident in Sydney in 2002. Shouldn't governments realised that some sort of public announcement should be made beforehand.
