@JTcomedee I just plugged it in. You might need to recalibrate it if it's not shifting correctly. You can find the manual somewhere on the Fanatec site or blog.

god i wish i could use my dfgt with forza, it looks even better with a 900 degree wheel. fanatec quality control and support needs to improve before i shell out 3-400 for one of these. forza and iracing forums have broken FF and shifters left and right.

i think i m going to get the version under this one , the one that has everything the finest version has but without the clubsport pedals , i mean dont get me wrong i understand metal pedals are better and obviously have better pressure on the springs , but 200 extra euros for metal pedals is a bit overpriced to me , the finest version was over 500 euros , and the one without only those metal pedals but still includes clutch is 350 euros , please let me know if there are more differences !

There are no other differences. It's just the pedals, and I fully agree that they aren't worth it. The brake pedal does vibrate when the wheels are about to lock up or the ABS is activating which is cool but they definitely aren't necessary.

I am actually going to buy a second wheel I think and on that wheel I will not be getting the clubsport pedals.

the reason why set high on forcefeedback is wheel comes to the center position by itself just like a real thing(free hand). drift mode is useful in order to turn fast action on tight turn.

Hi,

i put my video response up there to show people more Turbo S goodness. I haven't had the same isue with the shifter switching shifts, but it can be tricky with the Paddles still functioning. Try to steer less instead of more when encountering understeer, that will give you more turnin and grip :)

I'm racing on 900 degrees and with clutch/gearshifter aswell in my vid, my first lap ever with it, so also still getting used to it.

when i set 900 degrees on forza 3 my screen said contrioller disconnected. so 540 degree is the limit. gran turismo 5 i CAN set it 900 but not forza3 but my wheel shakes, any solution for GT5??

I can't fucking believe this games been out for 2 weeks and this is still the latest video showing any footage at all of the wheel and gameplay.

I don't think any real racing game can call itself a "racing sim" until you can actually drive realistically in it (like in this video). And MS are too lazy and only mass produce a half assed steering wheel

did u ever use the ms wheel? how does this compare? I couldnt stand it. But I love the g25. Its also a bummer the shifter makes such a cheap sound when you shift, too. But from the testimonials I've read this seems like a great wheel. Might have to look into it, I'm in san diego too, north county.

I like it a lot better than the MS wheel, but I have not used the ms wheel with forza 3. I put it in storage a bit ago. I am in North County as well, Encinitas.

I had to pay California tax I don't know how much it was...shipping was $10 (though I actually paid more for a special shipping that is no longer offered). It comes with a clamp for mounting it to a table, but I have mine mounted to the Rennsport Wheelstand which is another Fanatec product.

either you keep hitting the paddle shifters accidentally or your shifter needs calibration. go to fanatec's website to download the pdf manual and on page 26 it shows how to calibrate via using the in-wheel tuning menu. it's real easy.

i got my shifter today and it was acting up. the game would shift on it's own it appeared. then i calibrated the shifter and raced over 2 hours using manual + clutch with no shifting errors of any kind.

the reason why it changed gears on you is because you accidentally hit the paddle shifter without realizing it when your hands were all over the wheel during that evassive manuever. trust me. since i hate paddle shifters i took them off with the supplied screw driver. it's real easy.  just 2 screws.

By the way, that shifter issue also happens on my Logitech G25. Sometimes when I'm in 3rd gear it'll jump to 2nd for no reason.
