Locomotion: How does the Rail Runner run?

How come you railfans in N.M. didn't catch the error of rail ownership? BN never went to NM, the trackage is former ATSF! BN only became a part of it by the merger with the ATSF! And the cars having dynamic brakes?, only locos have db. The cars have air brakes with electric assist. The part they showed at this point was the disc brake. Who ever did the narration for this video should have checked on their facts!

Technically, it's neither. Those are MPI MP36PH-3C. Built by Motive Power in Boise Idaho. I actually got a photo of the 104 in Boise before it was sipped to Albuquerque. However, you are correct in that the prime motors are rebuilt EMD's.
