I have only heard of this in the "swallows and amazons" books and and old country guy I used to work with 30 odd years ago. didn't think it was real to be honest:) Do you actually "tickle" the fish or just gently pick it up?

@arserkal . Just make sure you dont overfish one area. I havent taken a trout from my spot for 5 years now. I just enjoy catch and release because trout dont taste that great anyway.
