Exactly. I was at Long Beach for an IndyCar race (LOL). Apart from the occasional empty bleachers and many fans (I think) wearing red caps, it was an awesome experience. It was my first time attending ANY motorsport event in person. I had a good time there.
If you have a chance to catch a race, may it be F1, NASCAR, IndyCar, NHRA, or what not, GO! I want you to go to these venues in person! It's nothing like being there over watching it on TV.
The reason everyone hates him is mostly because of how he comes off to NASCAR fans in his interviews and whatnot, but what they don't seem to realize is that Kyle loves it when people express their hatred for him, and eats it up when people boo him. People give him that satisfaction every weekend.
Everyone has rough patches. Remember how Stewart didn't win a race last year until October? Actually, NASCAR won that race for him by giving Regan Smith the direct screw job to get their boy to Victory Lane one more time with Gibbs.
