But then one day, I cried out to Jesus asking him for forgiveness, deliverance, and a stronger faith. His Holy Spirit filled me and I felt closer to God then ever before. @theamazingtoot When are you tempted? Is it late at night? Go to sleep before that. Do movies or TV trigger it? Is it internet access. Get rid of what hinders. Pray for an intense accountability partner. While these ideas may help, they are not the cure-all. Many men in our LIFE Group are struggling with the same things. One man cancelled his internet service. One gave his computers to a friend. Pray more!

However, I asked God to show me how to sucessfully remove it out of my life. His Spirit then led me to Romans Chapters 6,7,8 which explains the freedom that is ours once we accept Christ. Notice at the end of Romans chapter 7 , Paul says I thank God that I am free.. Just thank God that he has already freed you and you will recieve the freedom! Amen!

The status of your freedom from this addiction has never changed, you have always been free; you just need to come to that realization. The bible teaches that when you fast you die to your flesh, the fleshly desires inside of you are erased and gone. So I recommend to start fasting. It doesn't take a lot. Start with one day a week of not eating any food. You are gonna see radical change. Do you want a temporary solution? Or do you want the problem to be cut at the root

Find the emotion behind it, so often it stems from a desire for intimacy that only comes from God that we try to fill with other things. For me it was drugs. How i begin to walk in freedom was simply telling God how I felt when emotions came and how I felt in the past. The process went something like this: I felt alone, told God I felt alone, God spoke truth back, I spoke it loud, freedom came!
