pretty much so. those ea nhl games are kinda easy even with difficult level. i won stanley cup on nhl09 on a 'be a pro' mode.

cant you tweak the settings? because ive got nhl 2k9 for my ps3 and i put the difficulty to hallf of famer(hardest) and then put all the ai skills to the max and its real hard but fun
