J. Loren (The Singer Stupid) is in fact one of the best live singers out there. He uses no studio enhancements to his voice for the album he sounds exactly the same live and it is awesome.

I think if you some of you guys understood their situation, you would see it a different way. A lot of people say he's dramatic and trying to be a badass. A valid argument. But these guys aren't big (and I think you would agree to that just by seeing the quality of the video). Sure, it is really dramatic, but this is to get your attention, and it obviously has, just in a bad way. Personally, I really enjoy the song; the video could use more work, but nothing could ruin the music for me. Peace

awesome song but yeah, he is a bit of a drama queen throughout the vid. I gotta say, it is a good atempt at TOOL's style but at the end of the day that's exactly what it is, a new version of someone elses shit. I've been listening to Hurt since 2006 or so(whenever Vol. 1 was published) and I've never seen them play in a professionally shot video. This video gives a kinda "bad, rad and tuff motherfuckers!"-picture of them, which is a perfect opposite of the picture their music has given me through these four years.
The new single, "Numbers" is up on YouTube and judging by the first view, Hurt has drifted away even more from the stylish, powerful, innovative and almost eerily dark style
