  • Great song and vid!

  • @sbbinahee Thank you so much.

  • Okay at 056 I was gasping for breath! My heart will always belong to this talented man. And that shot OMG. I have had a thing for him since 1967 ( when I was 12)

  • @greenjello74 I am go glad you enjoyed the video. Most of the pictures I took of Glen at Branson, MO in 2006 and the rest I found on the internet. He is a wonderful talent.

  • @pe816190 Thank you so much for this. I hope to catch him when he plays Fla on this last farewell tour. When he toured in 1967 we couldn't afford the tix to see him, needless to say i was crushed. I know it won't be the same but then again I'm not 12 anymore. LOL. I think I might have actually fainted if I had seen him in '67 !!! I am sick at heart to learn he has Alzheimers, but it seems that his wife is taking very good care of him and has stuck by him for what 30+ yrs now.?

  • @greenjello74 I am so glad he met his present wife. She must have really loved him all these years. I am also sad because of him having Alzheimers. Things can be so unfair. I am so glad I was able to see him in concert in Branson, MO.

  • @greenjello74 :-) Yummy is just not the word!!! My favourite picture of Glen....I don't know why though. ;-p And I wasn't even born when this was taken. :-) He is BLOODY gorgeous..

  • @GuyFawkes15 and @ghtsw11 It is so sad to learn that Glen has Alzheimer's disease.

  • Glen Campbell is extremely underrated - I have no idea why - but this is a simply wonderful production of a great song. Absolute artistry.

  • I saw Glen in 1986 at Newcastle City Hall. It was a great show. He brought on his brother, Shorty, for a few songs.

  • Glen Campbell was a sesson musician for the Beach Boys. I can remember his TV show when I was a kid. He covered a wide range of material and he had many guest stars that ran the gammet from country to rock and roll and crossed over many genres of popular music. Glen has not taken aging gracefully and was arrested for drunk driving. When his attorney arrived to bail him out, he found Glen entertaining inmates and law enforcement alike. Both cops and criminals alike found joy in his music.

  • @TDS4UT Yes Glen is great. Thank you for your comments.

  • @TDS4UT Not only a session musician for the Beach Boys. He took Brian Wilson´s place touring for a couple of months in 1965 and at that time was a full member of the band.

  • @TDS4UT Yes Glen is awesome.

  • Agreed. One of the most underrated singers around. An excellent interpreter of song (it doesn't hurt to have a slew of Jimmy Webb tunes in your back pocket) - able to get inside a lyric, and bring it home. Campbell's voice is pure, filled with emotion, all too often, he's overlooked as one of the best singers around . He's also one hell of a guitar player.

  • @twowaystreet101 Yes Glen is great. Thank you for your comments.

  • A nearly peerless example of what made this man so great - that voice! that voice! It almost literally aches. I'd argue Glen Campbell was one of the most underrated vocalists of the past generation, few could emote through song like him. And to think this gem was on the same album as the timeless "Witchita Lineman". After hearing Glen handle this tune, no other version holds a candle, sorry!

  • @sjplwc I'm glad you like the video.

  • @sjplwc Yes he's great.

  • @sjplwc I coudnt agree with you more. This man never fails.Next to Elvis the best popular singer of his generation.

  • @sjplwc Yes Glen is an awesome singer and performer.

  • @sjplwc Just listened to this song by Johnny Cash, The Carpenters, Rod Stewart and Tim Hardin. Glen's version is the best, IMO.

  • @clarissaNaz I'm glad you like it.

  • @clarissaNaz Glen does do a great job. Check out a version by Mike Sinatra, too.

  • @sjplwc Yes Glen is great. Thank you for your comments.

  • Soothing melodious song.... Thanks.

  • Nice tribute and great Campbell track.............

  • one of the greatest artists in history without a doubt and even now, unsung for many people in this world.

  • great pics & upload thanks~~~~

  • Amazing that Campbell is still performing, I heard he had a heart attack or something a couple years ago. His song "The Wichita Lineman" is played over and over again on 920 am in Milwaukee. Thanx fur sharin'! 4 thumbs up!

  • Very nice song and video. Thanks.

  • Thank you. I'm glad you like the video

  • Thank you for your lovely reply. I have always been a fan of Glen's. Keep up the good work, and, take care, love, Jennie. X.

  • Incredibly emotive. Much, much better than the Rod Stewart original. Campbell's voice is matchless on melancholy pieces like this. An under-celebrated treasure.

  • Nice song, nice video 5***** Thanks. John.

  • Thank you for liking my video. Some of the pictures I took at Branson in 2006. He autographed an album cover for me.

  • BRILLIANT!! One of my favourites, thank you and take care, Kittielips. X
