  • sheesh, still brings tears to my eyes - Doctor Who was always good, but now it speaks to the same audience that grew up with the show.

    good stuff judywasapunk

  • qu'elle putain de chanson

  • You just made me cry twice, so hard the second time, thanks Catherine most touching indeed, as powerful as on the programme if not more so. Won't be watching this every day, that's for sure, but sure to visit again! :-) Btw if this is your least favorite Jeff tune you are watching way too much tv and you forgot how to hear it the way you did the first time.

  • Love the Doc. Love Jeff Buckley. Cried my eyes out - excellent work, mate.

  • what you talking bout willis ? why is it on this video, this has become my least favorite buckley tune... the oc and now this what hoor...aw he disapeared thats crummy. ay luv yuooo abornahomhalapapy...hah hah

  • V V that sounds like the Dr to me :)

  • Don't know from Dr. Who but the romantic sauce irks me. Sentimentality will kill you - this just isn;t real. The tune is very real, not romantic and not sentimental. This looks like a bit about love lost? Don't cry - codependency'll kill ya every time. This ain't what love is folks. No disrespect - I am sure its a great edit of a show pwople like. But the Jeff Buckley is just not right, as pretty as it is. Its a far more serious song - hear it hard.

  • song is a blend of themes: tragedy- a great man falling for a woman that steals or costs him his greatness; bittersweetness of passion and love and it's inescapable mix of great joy and great hurt, the humbling side of things, the great brought low, the clever who don't match up to their boasting; the rollercoaster that is the Human experience and in the end the fact that those who survive to grow and be richer for the experience are the ones who sing "praise God" throughout and at the end esp

  • Congratulations: you successfully made me cry my eyes out....

I know what happens in Season 4, but man, I still spend fifteen minutes crying after the end of Season 2, every time...

Of all forty years, if the Doctor could have had one non-platonic relationship, then that was it...

  • love amor e tudo em nossas vidas pena que as vezes terminam

  • I just cried my eyes out...

  • What is this Dr. who? never seen it.

  • It's a BBC television show, began around 1963. They brought it back in 2005.

I highly suggest you look into it! Personally, my first Doctor was Tom Baker, but David Tennant ties with him as my favorite!

  • your editing skills are absolutely INCREDIBLE!

    thanks for this vid

    jules

  • That was really sad and beautiful. Having seen the way Season 4 ends makes it even more complicated too, because Rose ends up with a version of the Doctor, but the poor Doctor is all alone in the end...

  • Most heartbreaking Doctor Who video I have ever, ever, ever seen. Awesome

  • wow, that was sad. it did bring me close to tears.

  • me too. it was surprising. because i always hide my feelings. so i barely cry. so thats weird that this almost got me to cry

  • well, it's a given. it helps that jeff buckley is/was amazing.

  • yea i hate that we have to say "was" instead of "is" i wish he was till alive

  • i didn't actually. hah, i woyld if if wasn't to do with rose. if it was somethin proper lk the time war then i would.

  • I can never get through Doomsday with out sobbing no TV show has ever affected me like that.

  • T_T Curse you! Got me crying!

  • this song goes well with pretty much any sad hopeless story...

  • I cry everytime I see this. I want Rose and the happy go lucky Doctor back.

  • it is kind of mean to use such a sad video in combination with Ten and Rose *sniff*

But you did a beautiful job

  • loved it. but i don't watch the show. not available in canada. whats the deal?

  • Doctor Who has been around since the 60s with gaps in the 80s and 90s. The current series (season 4 just ended) were all carried and co-produced by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. They were shown in prime time normally Fridays at 9 in the fall. Unfortunately, they butchered the last segment from which this video was drawn. We have seen Rose Tyler (Billie Piper) off and on over the last years. This is a lovely tribute.

  • aw no!!! i cried! that was so moving.... and the dialogue:

DOCTOR: its gonna be my last chance to say it.... Rose Tyler....

aw, you have me a mess.

    FIVE STARS!

  • Wow, this video is brilliant, you captured the mood of the show perfectly, and the song went so well it could have been written for the clip, well done one of the best clips I have seen on you tube ever.

  • Great,and so sad:(

    Rose&Doctor were amazing together

  • one word sums it up really

    WOW!!!

sad, poingant and beautiful the perfect goodbye

    and i cried too!

  • I need tissues! I have none left!

  • Beautiful. I miss Rose. Funny enough a bloke was playing this song outside the Coppucino kiosk on Buchanan street when I was back a few weeks ago(it's a police box converted to a coffee kiosk for all you non-Glaswegians...painted Tardis blue and everything). Did I mention that Martha is rubbish?

  • I cried...

  • Fantastic! Jeff Buckley has to make a Doctor Who appearence like Queen Victoria and Shakespeare.

  • That would be brilliant. Oh, but i would cry if jeff died at the end

  • man, I'm a mess! That vid was so moving! brilliant

  • Brilliant! 5 stars - How long did it take you?!

  • That was actually amazing. You chose just the right bits to include the dialogue, and it was just brilliant. I took the trouble of going and logging in just so I could let you know it was that good. And I don't really comment videos often, so yes, very VERY good

  • this song makes me cry at the best of times,

so you can imagine wot im like now,

    that was truly moving!

  • Oh, this made my heart ache. :o

Amazing video. People seem to stay away from Jeff Buckley's version because it's 6 minutes long, but you've done it quite well. :)

  • Amazingly great! I've searched so hard for a Hallelujah video.

  • excellent anyone know if i can download it?

  • Great, well done

  • Insanely good!
