You just made me cry twice, so hard the second time, thanks Catherine most touching indeed, as powerful as on the programme if not more so. Won't be watching this every day, that's for sure, but sure to visit again! :-) Btw if this is your least favorite Jeff tune you are watching way too much tv and you forgot how to hear it the way you did the first time.
what you talking bout willis ? why is it on this video, this has become my least favorite buckley tune... the oc and now this what hoor...aw he disapeared thats crummy. ay luv yuooo abornahomhalapapy...hah hah
Don't know from Dr. Who but the romantic sauce irks me. Sentimentality will kill you - this just isn;t real. The tune is very real, not romantic and not sentimental. This looks like a bit about love lost? Don't cry - codependency'll kill ya every time. This ain't what love is folks. No disrespect - I am sure its a great edit of a show pwople like. But the Jeff Buckley is just not right, as pretty as it is. Its a far more serious song - hear it hard.
song is a blend of themes: tragedy- a great man falling for a woman that steals or costs him his greatness; bittersweetness of passion and love and it's inescapable mix of great joy and great hurt, the humbling side of things, the great brought low, the clever who don't match up to their boasting; the rollercoaster that is the Human experience and in the end the fact that those who survive to grow and be richer for the experience are the ones who sing "praise God" throughout and at the end esp
That was really sad and beautiful. Having seen the way Season 4 ends makes it even more complicated too, because Rose ends up with a version of the Doctor, but the poor Doctor is all alone in the end...
Doctor Who has been around since the 60s with gaps in the 80s and 90s. The current series (season 4 just ended) were all carried and co-produced by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. They were shown in prime time normally Fridays at 9 in the fall. Unfortunately, they butchered the last segment from which this video was drawn. We have seen Rose Tyler (Billie Piper) off and on over the last years. This is a lovely tribute.
Wow, this video is brilliant, you captured the mood of the show perfectly, and the song went so well it could have been written for the clip, well done one of the best clips I have seen on you tube ever.
Beautiful. I miss Rose. Funny enough a bloke was playing this song outside the Coppucino kiosk on Buchanan street when I was back a few weeks ago(it's a police box converted to a coffee kiosk for all you non-Glaswegians...painted Tardis blue and everything). Did I mention that Martha is rubbish?
That was actually amazing. You chose just the right bits to include the dialogue, and it was just brilliant. I took the trouble of going and logging in just so I could let you know it was that good. And I don't really comment videos often, so yes, very VERY good
sheesh, still brings tears to my eyes - Doctor Who was always good, but now it speaks to the same audience that grew up with the show.

Congratulations: you successfully made me cry my eyes out....
I know what happens in Season 4, but man, I still spend fifteen minutes crying after the end of Season 2, every time...
Of all forty years, if the Doctor could have had one non-platonic relationship, then that was it...

What is this Dr. who? never seen it.
heimegut 2 years ago
It's a BBC television show, began around 1963. They brought it back in 2005.
I highly suggest you look into it! Personally, my first Doctor was Tom Baker, but David Tennant ties with him as my favorite!

Amazing video. People seem to stay away from Jeff Buckley's version because it's 6 minutes long, but you've done it quite well. :)
