China isn't deploying soldiers because their not in a war. And Russia is actually deploying soldiers because of the countless numbers of conflicts they have with their former satellite countries, such as Georgia. That is all.

I say bring home all Marines and regular Army except for maybe a couple of brigades, and leave the job to be done by the special forces operators (SEALs, Rangers, MARSOC, Green Berets, SFOD-D). Attrition warfare cannot combat guerilla warfare, they are completely antithetical, that is why we have counter terrorism units and special forces.

@shaydyknight I do have experience with the military, I spent my teenager years at a military school, so I know the mindset of a soldier, hell I was recommend officer, got accepted in ROTC but made a promise to my folks to go to regular college first. but don't think the bug is out of me, everyday I think like a soldier. what if a bomb goes off, what if a gunman comes in, hell what if WW3 starts up, I am not fed by stupid media, they either say soldiers are murders, or broken men. so watch it..
