Holy smokes! This method is totally tubular!!!!! Love it, though it is more a PITA than long-tail, once you get used to it, it's totally worth it. The edge of my Bramble hat is GORGEOUS! Way better than all that waste yarn and complicated ripping out of other tubular CO methods. This is def. in my knitting arsenal now :D Thanks so much!
I'd just like to thank you for posting this. I have been going crazy trying to find a way to do this while avoiding just what you list: working first on straights, having the twisted stitches, etc. BRAVO! I'll hopefully be doing this very soon on a project.
