I have the same system on my 06 i love it if you argue shipping and pay with cash at a ford dealership they don't make you pay it and my quote was low for what the work really was so i only had to pay 225 for install totaling just under 1000
That sounds pretty damn nice. People slam the V6 Mustangs all the time, but they can be made to move pretty well, and I like how they sound w/ exhaust like this.
umm ya i would say so when i took this vid it was brand new so it wasnt really broken in but idk its gotten a little deeper. I think it sounds like more natural at first it seemed kinda weird hearing the exhaust on my car but im proly just used to it know u know
Hey, I have a 07 V6 that I am researching the best way to put duals on. I've purchased two GT take-off mufflers and now am looking for an X-pipe. My question is: will the 'Ford Racing X-Pipe" made for the GTs work? I've seen the official Ford docs/steps to install. It says, Use the V6 X-Pipe. Is there a difference? And where did you get the work done/buy parts?
I figure after the xpipe, I need the driver's side tailpipe and hangers for the same side.
um i went with ford racing performance parts just because its covered by my warranty but they said they put an x pipe in and that it was a "true dual exhaust" but idk how it works im not very smart when it comes to the technical stuff hahaha but i think you can just buy the parts from ford minus the mufflers because you already have those so yee son i would talk to the nearest ford person for you if you want them to be under warranty but if u dont have one im sure a local car place could do it
