@atsukoaina25 =) It's used to save the game at the typewriter's you find. Resident Evil 4 was the first one to stop the Ink Ribbon use and just allow you to save without them. Thanks for watching =)

@0838595587 That can't be possible, because when your in the police station as Jill you see the black police officers body that helps you on RE2 and turns into a zombie. Then again there are a lot of parts in the game that confuses the timeline between the 2 but i'm pretty sure it's set around the same time.
@0838595587 Well the zombies didnt "just appear". From RE1 there was already contamination from the virus. And RE2 and RE3 are mixed in with eachother. Some parts of RE3 happen before RE2 some parts after and some parts during. The way I look at it is, the part where William Birkin gets shot and the virus spreads to the rats in RE2 happens before RE3. Thats how the city is infected. Jill who's already in Raccoon City tries to help and be a "hero". Brad dies, she enters the RPD...
@0838595587 ... she finds the black officer (Marvin) on the ground bitten and dead but not a zombie. She leaves the RPD. Moments after Brad turns into a zombie which can be seen in RE2. Leon / Claire at some point during RE3 enter Raccoon City, Leon finds Marvin who becomes a zombie, windows and barricades in the city and RPD are finally broken down since Jill was there earlier. Thats how I think everything plays out. Some things dont add up 100% though, there are holes in the story.

@0838595587 Well the game doesnt say why she starts off rolling out of an exploding building and ends up in the warehouse, but there are Resident Evil novels / books that explain it a bit. The novel says Jill was in her apartment building and zombies overran the building, Her only way out after being surrounded was to shoot some explosive canister which caused the explosion you see at the start. As for the warehouse, it just happened to be her only way to go/escape I'm assuming.

Resident evil in serbia is more recognizable as a game,then a movie.for everyone played RE3 first, and then watched the movie. Still have my copy of the game. Its debatable on the camera view because I personally like the original camera views. 3. Quick time events are cool at first then you just get used to it. @SHAWN119100 Great question. Old games like this use "Pre-rendered" backgrounds, meaning that all the environments and rooms are simply a flat 2D screenshot of a 3D room. So basically its like putting the 3D character on top of a wallpaper. The way they use lighting and camera angles makes the game look like a true 3D game. Not sure if I explained it good enough to make sense but thats how these older games look so good graphically.

@scarface1224md the only RE version that had ever used a 2d flat background was the N64 RE2. The other versions did not use that. they actually designed the enviroments.

Im sure you know how to use Wikipedia and you can research that for yourself. Every fan, and modder of RE knows that the original RE games, were all made using prerendered backgrounds. Pre-rendered backgrounds are simply snapshots of a 3D room
@patrickh92able Objects like the big dumpster in the beginning of this game is clearly a full 3D model of a dumpster. The background in the rest of that shot is all a wallpaper or a 2D background. Do some research on the many RE forums and modding sites and you would see why it's so difficult for people to mod the backgrounds and rooms in these older RE games.

But in order to unlock the Boutique you must beat the game in under 7 hours with less than 30 saves. After that to unlock more outfits you need to beat the game on Hard mode. An A rank on hard mode gives you 5 outfits, B: gives you 4, etc. To get an A Rank you have to not use a lot of first aid sprays or any at all and dont save a lot, and fiish the game in under 3:30 hours

@autoshutdownpower unfortunately no. The reason is because the game is designed to run at 640 x 480, so playing it on a big screen tv will only stretch the 640 x 480 and make it look somewhat blurry. It's best to be played on an older tv, a PC emulator, or a PSP.
They shouldve released an HD version when they released it to the PS Store like the Xbox does with alot of it''s older games.
Forgive me for asking this since I've never played the original games: is the gameplay to this the same as Outbreak? I like RE but I don't think I liked Outbreak. This, however, does look fun for some reason.
@Sup750 This gameplay is very different from the Outbreak series. And I agree with you, I didnt like Outbreak all that much either. Outbreak to me is like a 3rd person Left for dead, where you have a small team with you and you can pick up items as you go along to get to a checkpont. RE 3 is more of a survival horror / puzzle game, and IMO is way better than Outbreak. I would definitely give it a try if you havent played it yet =)
@latina21026 I can agree with that. Every new Re game that comes in, I'd play it right away even if it's totally different from the original games. I wished the new RE game was more like he Outbreak series.
Sorry. When I was a kid, I had limited access to games that my brother had and the only original RE game he had was RE2 for PC. That's why I never really played any of the original games. I do know the story somewhat.
@ABELVIN13 Resident Evil 3 has alot of video card / audio issues with Windows XP, and higher. It's most likely a driver problem for your video card because the compatability of RE3 sucks. I'll PM you a link where you can get a better version of Resident Evil 3.

@scarface1224md the only RE version that had ever used a 2d flat background was the N64 RE2. The other versions did not use that. they actually designed the enviroments.

@patrickh92able RE2 for the N64 is the exact same as the PS version with the exception that the resolution is lowered to fit on the smaller N64 cartridge. Im sure you know how to use Wikipedia and you can research that for yourself. Every fan, and modder of RE knows that the original RE games, were all made using prerendered backgrounds. Pre-rendered backgrounds are simply snapshots of a 3D room

@patrickh92able Objects like the big dumpster in the beginning of this game is clearly a full 3D model of a dumpster. The background in the rest of that shot is all a wallpaper or a 2D background. Do some research on the many RE forums and modding sites and you would see why it's so difficult for people to mod the backgrounds and rooms in these older RE games.

@scarface1224md oh and dude how do u unlock all the costumes i herd that u had to beat the game under 3 hrs and only save once so i did but i didn't work, so i tryed again on ps3 and beat the game weithout dieing and only daving once but i still didn't unlock all costumes? can u help me?

@Doubledeeloverfan Well the PC version, which is the one I'm playing has all the outfits unlocked from the beginning. But in order to unlock the Boutique you must beat the game in under 7 hours with less than 30 saves. After that to unlock more outfits you need to beat the game on Hard mode. An A rank on hard mode gives you 5 outfits, B: gives you 4, etc. To get an A Rank you have to not use a lot of first aid sprays or any at all and dont save a lot, and fiish the game in under 3:30 hours

@lukejams lol i agree. unless its advertised as a walkthrough and isn't one, i dont see the reason for a dislike. It's probably someone else who has a RE walkthrough and they're jealous of mines. Thats usually the case for walkthrough dislikes

@lukejams Yea, I wondered too. If theres a dislike, people should leave a comment as to why. This walkthrough is exactly what it says it is, so a dislike is just someone hating or a personal reason I guess. But it doesnt bother me =)

@autoshutdownpower unfortunately no. The reason is because the game is designed to run at 640 x 480, so playing it on a big screen tv will only stretch the 640 x 480 and make it look somewhat blurry. It's best to be played on an older tv, a PC emulator, or a PSP.
They shouldve released an HD version when they released it to the PS Store like the Xbox does with alot of it''s older games.

Forgive me for asking this since I've never played the original games: is the gameplay to this the same as Outbreak? I like RE but I don't think I liked Outbreak. This, however, does look fun for some reason.

@Sup750 This gameplay is very different from the Outbreak series. And I agree with you, I didnt like Outbreak all that much either. Outbreak to me is like a 3rd person Left for dead, where you have a small team with you and you can pick up items as you go along to get to a checkpont. RE 3 is more of a survival horror / puzzle game, and IMO is way better than Outbreak. I would definitely give it a try if you havent played it yet =)

@ABELVIN13 Resident Evil 3 has alot of video card / audio issues with Windows XP, and higher. It's most likely a driver problem for your video card because the compatability of RE3 sucks. I'll PM you a link where you can get a better version of Resident Evil 3.

@scarface1224md eheh yeah, i can't stand playthroughs with commentaries :p (some people actually spoil the "jump scares" and even the story while commentating) i was really pissed seeing that almost every playthrough I found was being commentated.
Thankfully I found your resident evil 1, 2 and 3 walkthroughs lol (i only played RE4 and 5, which weren't scary, except that mofo verdugo)
