i have a ps3 and an xbox. i have to say that i enjoy that xbox has a bunch of stuff to do outside of the games you put in it and that all of my friends have one. then again i like that ps3 is free, has disks that are harder to scratch, and can hold more information on one disk than the xbox can, not to mention that the online is free. Each console is great

This one actually looks pretty good, for DLC expectations aren't really that high, but I think this one might have set the standard a little higher. This is again one which I haven't played, so I can't really give my opinion on the video..

will everyone shut up about the console war its a load of shit both consoles have great games. e.g. xbox (forza 3, halo, gears of war) and ps3 (uncharted 2, little big planet, god of war 3) i prefer forza to gran turismo but i prefer killzone 2 to gears of war i have both consoles and they both have good and bad points. at least the xbox and ps3 share the great games e.g. gta 4, call of duty, just cause 2, red dead redemption, assassin's creed.

Didn't love it...

It wasn't bad, and I would probably pay for it... but.... ya'know...

It was kind of repetetive after awhile, and the aiming in the background got me to lose health I didn't have to fairly often.

I've glitched a couple times to the point where the wanted objective is impossible.

If you want to get a quick kick out of this game... pass, if you want to devote yourself to beating it... you'll probably really like it.

I paid for this game on my XBox, and it is great!  It truly is a Metroid style game. Really brought back some memories of Super Metroid. The aiming is a bit off sometimes, but it didn't happen that often.

By the way, the video is choppy, but the actual game is smooth as silk. Download the demo if you're really worried.

The red ring of death isn't an excuse for not getting a 360 any more as they have the new jasper chipset that makes the problem almost obsolete. It's also now cheaper than a wii so theres no excuse there.. Oh, and the 360 has a lot less fanboys than other consoles.

Well it is a good excuse if it's your first console. I wouldn't want a console that breaks down after a month. Plus the jasper chipset is a modification isn't it? That ruins your warranty. Plus modding consoles is illegal. Plus, who uses IGN as the sole source of reviews? Use Metacritic, since it combines reviews from every major site to give you the true score.

Between the two consoles, I buy more games for the 360, largely because of the party system. I get each PS3 exclusive, but inFamous is the only one I was blown away by.

I bought it a moth ago. aiming to be a metroid game but no where near as fun as A metroid game. the aiming is really really bad. Only bought it because i was under the false impression that it was as good as a metroid game. I beat it but the climax was wack. buy marvel vs. capcom 2 HD instead. plus you can download Mass effect for just 5 dollars more. Pass it and wait for the sequel
