3. A good looking and confident guy has more leeway in violating rules, because he will initially generate more attraction. If the guy has charm and charisma, he can bend the rules a bit more too. However, initial attraction, is not closing with sex. There is a gap there to overcome.

Those girls seemed young/inexperienced i.e. not desensitized to pickups. I think the mysterymethod seems to go a bit deeper, with girls who are of "higher social value". The Mystery Method is just a tool... There's nothing wrong with using it to learn, because it's a very effective method. It took me leaps and bounds in my life, and now I've moved past it and have very much developed my own unique style for pick up... but certain elements of the MM are still very much apart of my game. I think it is extremely naive to dismiss it in it's entirety.

He spoke confidently and his self-deprecation was humorous rather than conveying insecurity. a lot of the MM rules are to help out first timers. if you did this the first time you went out, would it work? probably not. the 3 second rule, for example, is to get over AA, which you clearly don't have. but you are funny and definitely give off that aura of "i don't give a shit", which overrides any rule.
im really interested how much did you go out during these six months and how many approaches you have done to get where you are? how many times in a week you went out and when did you notice the change in your approach and yourself towards confidence and being comfortable??

Your success with these 2 doesn't really prove anything, I mean they did not appear to be hot, and since they have very little social value (2 girls alone in the street) they were essentially easy targets and would probably fall for any sort of pickup outside of the norm "hey what's your name" etc. Mystery's method works for the MAJORITY of sets, and when it is used in a congruent manner to one's personality. Do a vid of you in a club wihtout cutting scenes and maybe it will have some validity.
This reminds me there's a major Mystery Method rule I forgot to mention I didn't obey - I used NO Time Constraint. Instead I APOLOGIZED for taking up their time! Mystery Method is not the only way. IMHO, mystery is giving a too exact pickup line. You dont have to be y copy of mystery with his line - develop your own style.
Back here in germany we are almost only doing direct game (in streetgame!) and succeed. Dont think in therms of rules, just use them if you dont know where to go yourself.

The Mystery Method is just a tool... There's nothing wrong with using it to learn, because it's a very effective method. It took me leaps and bounds in my life, and now I've moved past it and have very much developed my own unique style for pick up... but certain elements of the MM are still very much apart of my game. I think it is extremely naive to dismiss it in it's entirety.

I also disagree with the "made your value lower" comment. As far as I can tell, you've raised your value by showing than you are not ashamed with yourself, you're willing to stick your neck out there and change for the better - admirable qualities. Again, just trying to nitpick the Mystery Method.
If you want to lower your value, try acting insecure and self-hating, wash yourself in shit before approach, or do some other unsavory things. If you can stick number close, then that'll be something.

The Mystery Method is a field-tested model, not a set of hard and fast rules. This guy was successful because there are myriad ways to subcom value. He spoke confidently and his self-deprecation was humorous rather than conveying insecurity. He looked the girls in the eyes, tossed out plenty of negs, and remained emotionally unaffected and cocky funny. His opener was even designed to be a humorous play off the creepiness of approaching from behind.

i think alot of you guys are missing the point.
mysterys method is an almost essential method to start off with, but he even states that its a starting point. All the rules and routines are there to develop your inner game, and once that is done..you can achieve results regardless of the rules.
(example savoys insult opener on keys to the vip)

That being said, some PUA theory can be useful to fall back on. However, positive social interactions require only that two parties invest themselves in a mutal exchange. However this comes about is completely irrelevant.

Anecdotal evidence does not prove anything. I will never say that the evidence of mystery method proves that it works. But it sure as hell supports it.
If you want to show that breaking the rules is really as effective, or more - as you claim - then create 'more' videos in more scenarios with more people. Furthermore, teach others to break the rules. Converging evidence like that will be a good demonstration.

a lot of the MM rules are to help out first timers. if you did this the first time you went out, would it work? probably not. the 3 second rule, for example, is to get over AA, which you clearly don't have. but you are funny and definitely give off that aura of "i don't give a shit", which overrides any rule.

Your success with these 2 doesn't really prove anything, I mean they did not appear to be hot, and since they have very little social value (2 girls alone in the street) they were essentially easy targets and would probably fall for any sort of pickup outside of the norm "hey what's your name" etc. Mystery's method works for the MAJORITY of sets, and when it is used in a congruent manner to one's personality. Do a vid of you in a club wihtout cutting scenes and maybe it will have some validity.

This reminds me there's a major Mystery Method rule I forgot to mention I didn't obey - I used NO Time Constraint. Instead I APOLOGIZED for taking up their time! There is a legitimate reason for this - If enough people comment telling me they want to know what I did RIGHT - and why the interaction was successful (so much as to having already had a day 2 with the target) then I'll release a SECOND video explaining what I did correctly!

I think the rules are general rules of thumb. If you see Mystery's other stuff he breaks his own rules, but general rules of thumb indicate you'll be more successful using the rules.

Mystery Method is not the only way. IMHO, mystery is giving a too exact pickup line. You dont have to be y copy of mystery with his line - develop your own style.
Back here in germany we are almost only doing direct game (in streetgame!) and succeed. Dont think in therms of rules, just use them if you dont know where to go yourself.
It's all about inner game, outer game is a matter of personality.
