Hey Lucy, I was just wondering if you are still using the method kids... on your kids still or if you know or have any information on the products in this video that you threw out that - the companies have changed - to make them safe? My nephew is a month old and uses some of the products that you threw out in this video- but i know this video was tapped over a year ago.... Ok I just checked my J&J body wash & it doesn't say anything about Formaldehyde in ingredients. So I'm really concerned...how can you tell?? I've tried researching this & it's so confusing. and at some point your kids will come into contact with these things and if they have never been exposed it could actually make them sicker. Especially at school where the parents can no longer micro manage their kids lives and what they are around. I'm not trying to offend I'm just curious what your opinion is on it.

Thank you so much for doing this video. I bought the brand Method about 6 months ago, and notice it was not tearfree, and it said to not get in in their eyes. Things might have changed since then, but you might want to check. Another thing to look out for in kids shampoo is Lye (spelling?), it's a chemical foound in alot of shampoo, but it's not the bets for kids!

I just feel if you stop everything that supposedly caused cancer you wouldnt be able to eat or use or go anywhere. Every day there is something else that causes cancer and then years later they say it doesnt.. But , you have to decide what is right for your family and baby..

It's really a personal choice. The products meet FDA regulations/standards. So that's why I say it's a personal choice of your own personal standards of quality care. Trace amount is what it is, a trace amount. But if I have the option to buy w/ out a trace amount, then that is the route I'll personally take. So it's up to you.

You should check out this group called Motivated Moms. A friend of mine does it from home. It has a lot to do with child-safe household products. I guess she sells them or something. Either way, she gets a ton of info about which products are harmful and the available alternatives.

We quit vacinating our son after his 1 year shots. I didn't like all the constant shots and had just watched something pretty scary about it all, so we were terrified and quit and he hasn't been back since! But thats just my decision, a lot of family members don't agree but it feels right to me!

Well I don't think the choice has to be to 1. Vaccinate or 2. Not Vaccinate... You can Vaccinate on a safer schedule, as well as pick and choose your vaccinations you want to give your children. So there are 4 options but most only see # 1 or # 2, never giving #3 or #4 consideration. Just thought I would say that usually local health food stores have a baby section with healthy (usually organic) products. I have been using Natures Gate organic baby body wash for a long time and highly reccomend it. Did you check your local healthfood stores?

I actually tried to find the story & I did on usatoday's website & there is even a link to find all the products that were tested. The article just ran. The date for it is March 13. So this past friday. Its under health & behavior.

There is so much gray area to them. I am not FOR or AGAINST vaccines. I think some children in particular situations need them more so than some other children in other situations.. Oh my goodness, i use baby magic EVERYDAY! That really stinks! I LOVE the smell of that stuff!! Thank you so much for sharing cause i just bought a big bottle of that, that is definitely going back to walmart!!!! I wonder if our products have that in it too! I don't know much about Avojuice Skin Quenchers, i just know when i was at my nail apt the other day, the nail tech told me something about OPI having that. Now they did do "something" that makes their products a lot better, more green or whatever, but not as natural as a few other brands, like Zoya nail and body products are all natural. I think OPI did make their products more green but i know its not 100 percent natural like some other brands?

I appreciate that. I actually have done some research on my own, and have decided NOT to vaccinate my son, but I did vaccinate my three other children. My son was just different and I noticed some signes I didnt like and decided to stop the vaccinations. I would love to see a video on your opinion. Thanks Lucy.

My husband went to a friend of ours friend's fundraiser last night to raise awareness of cancer in babies... his 9 month old daughter died last September from cancer.

The causing agents are everywhere... The more that you know about the more you can prevent.

Yeah, thank you so much for sharing! That's so scary... Did you happen to notice that BRUs had to stop selling all of their mattresses? Lead and another cancer causing chemical were in them and they are no longer aloud to sell those products. Needless to say once they start getting the new ones in they will be 'safe' at least until the next cancer causing agent is found. My Mom and I went the weekend before last-so they should start getting them back soon...

Hey hun, I got ur PM b4 this comment, and I had already called BRU after getting ur PM. The store said the day we came in they were having to them all down for testing. The results of their test came back great. Everyone of them passed. I was like whew! She said if one or more wouldn't have anyone who had bought w/ them, that had a valid email address would have received notification, as well it would be ALL OVER the local news trying to get the word out to return/exchange ASAP. :)

They said that their current stock was all bad and the companies were replacing them with the new/safe models. I think I am going to call and talk to the mgr. at mine because their story needs some straightening out!
