Such a shame when bands with massive potential have to break up because of a lack of commercial success. Wilderness Is Paradies Now is one of the few albums I go back to time and time again. Quality.

Such an awesome band. I still listen to WIPN to this day. Such a waste of talent that they split. I blame the gay public who didn't buy their records, but instead buy tickets to see Take That bum each other...

can you tell me what he's about to do? Morning Runner split more than a year ago, but unfortunately Matt doesn't seem to be in a new band or sth. or have i just not noticed? By the way Morning Runner is (was) the second best band ever in my opinion and it really makes me sad to know that there will be no more albums, especially when i listen to the "You Said"-demo on myspace. the second album would've been more than great...

well my dad told me that when he last spoke to his bro, that there contract had finished and that that was the real reason that they split up, and that basically that when there contract finished that the company didnt want to renew there contract...so they are trying out solo stuff i guess...im sorry i havnt talked to matt in a while acutally. only pete his bro.

i fell in love with M R first time i heard Burning Benches on the radio in early 06, i then bought the album and thought it was amazing then saw them at T in The Park 06 and still i wonder why they havent taken over the world.
