It's pretty easy. If anyone is demanding your time or attention or some kind of action from you, let them prove they have a right to demand it. i.e. is it against your will or is it voluntary (by agreement)?
Have you ever considered that the problem is the underlying model of 'society' - that perhaps there is a limit to its size where religion can still be enforced in a universallly effective manner?
