We know LORD is Jehovah, Yahweh. Why don't you "name" people leave it as YHWH? If you are going to keep it original why not leave it in Hebrew? God has not failed to identify Himself to me, an English Speaking American. He saw fit to let it be Jehovah from the Latin. I think He knows what He is doing. @gdcgray1 Simple answer - YHWH are only consonants. The letters in Hebrew "Yud He Vav He", or " יהוה". To my knowledge, it was written this way because of the sacredness of His name. Often times they would just refer to Him as "ha shem", or "the name". However, we are english speaking people, to spell it as it is pronounced would be to say "Yahweh".

To say there is a German, French, Italian, etc way to pronounce the name Yahweh defies the laws of language. Personal names are transliterated not translated like other words. Actually, there is a fallacy with the idea that you can say the Creator's name however you want. We know LORD is Jehovah, Yahweh. Why don't you "name" people leave it as YHWH? If you are going to keep it original why not leave it in Hebrew? God has not failed to identify Himself to me, an English Speaking American. He saw fit to let it be Jehovah from the Latin. I think He knows what He is doing. @gdcgray1 Simple answer - YHWH are only consonants. The letters in Hebrew "Yud He Vav He", or " יהוה". To my knowledge, it was written this way because of the sacredness of His name. Often times they would just refer to Him as "ha shem", or "the name". However, we are english speaking people, to spell it as it is pronounced would be to say "Yahweh".

Thanks Tommy for the response. My response would be: that's probably the toughest question to answer. The way I look at it, if I do kill him/her I am committing one of the gravest sins. If I do not listen to The Almighty, I am committing one of the gravest sins. See what I am saying? I would say this though. I am trying to listen to the teaching here, but I cannot get past the music. The piano music is an arrangement of the original song, "In The End," by Linkin Park. It is NOT a very Christian song. I used to listen to songs by Linkin Park before I gave my life to Jesus. Two of the songs on the album are "In The End" (it doesn't even matter), and "Crawling" (in my skin). I hope that the producer will change the music. For me, at least, the music here takes me back to thoughts of suicide. I can't.

To say there is a German, French, Italian, etc way to pronounce the name Yahweh defies the laws of language. Personal names are transliterated not translated like other words. This is why TV news reporters will always say Obama, Bush, or Clinton no matter what language they speak. No one can tell anyone how his or her name is to be pronounced. It is disrespectful to change the pronunciation of anyone. Imaging telling Mr. Lee your name is pronounced Larry in America. Jehovah is not Yahweh.

If you are going to be legalistic, Yahweh is incorrect as well. There are dozens of possibilites but Yahweh is not one of them. It's the same way people use Jesus instead of Yeshua. Do you think God is going to reject people due to that? Seriously? I use Jehovah because people are familiar with it but Yahweh will work as well. Don't be like The Pharasees and died by the law. Actually, there is a fallacy with the idea that you can say the Creator's name however you want. For those who have not heard, that is one thing, but if you have heard the name of Yahweh and willfully continue using the wrong name, that is another issue and there is a problem. It is no different than a password to unlock the door to salvation if you are trapped in a prison. If you use the wrong password, the door won't open and you will die imprisoned.

Everything that you said in the video for me it was fine. But I believe that you're confuse in certain parts. Elohim YAHWEH is not Jesus. Messiah Yahshua is not Jesus in the traditions Jesus is Zeus and that is Greek it's used within the religions of the pagans. The Messiah Yahshua is not Elohim ; Yahshua is the sender of YAHWEH. Look up in your so called bible in Yojanan/John 17:3 .
YAHWEH is the Father of this entire universe, YAHWEH is not Yahshua. And Jesus is a Greek name.

Would it surprise you to know that the titles "G-d" and "L-rd," are pagan. The term G-d, refers to the pagan deity Gad and the term L-rd, is a reference to Ba'al. If you know that YaHWeH is the real Name of the One True deity, use it! You should understand what you are saying, when you say it. If you want to get away from the paganism which has gotten into the assemblies, research it. 2 Tim. 2:15.
