corporate churches, that's the problem. Jesus never needed a building, He traveled on foot, there was no praise team, there was no light and fog show, there was no putting on your Sunday clothes, there was no superficial relationships. In many cases the churches/brides of then vs now are complete opposites.

I'd say the reason it's happening is because of the internet. With more communication, never before have ideas spread around the world so quickly. On the internet, the strongest idea wins so all that needs to happen is for Religion to be the strongest idea... Do you think Religion is the strongest idea?

Decrease in church attendance means that people are starting to wake up to the great satanic fraud that is called "church". What is happening today in the religious world is no different than what happened in the days of Christ. Religion is one of the vehicles of evil in this world

I believe that many of the institutions which some call church is not really the church of the Bible found in the book of ACTS. There is a new emergent, which is arising. Creature comforted, pre-programmed, self-empowered, high techi, types with gimmicks and hidden agendas. These types are not appealing to the human soul which God designed, in man. So this, in my opinion,  explains the falling away. People are crying out for the living God, the real deal, and not a condom church!

My kids (6, 7 and 17 y.o.) don't have a relationship with jesus, Zeus, Mithra, Thor nor any other mythical deity. They are intelligent, non-delusional individuals who understand critical, rational thinking.

Yes, you are correct. I am reaching, and I what I am reaching for, is far beyond what the human mind can comprehend. It takes the Spirit of God within a person to understand that there is a power outside of this creation, who is in control of all things, no matter how things may look or seem. That source is a greater reach so pure, that He is invisible to the naked eye, yet so real in the human soul.

migo53333: God is not found in our senses, or our feelings. He touches our senses yes but, God has designed mankind to seek Him, in a knowing realm. The knowing realm goes far beyond our senses. It is by Jesus Christ, the Son of God, whom was chosen to take us to the Father, then creator of heaven and earth. God is the truth and love we all thirst for. Therefore, we are given a mind which He designed us to reach out to Him, by way of the Spirit or the mind of God, Himself.

Church attendance is probably dropping because people are starting to listen to their hearts and minds: they greatly dislike the experience of going to church and deep down they suspect that religion is bullshit. I hope to be alive for the day when churches will become museums of human folly.
