What I think they should have done was bring them back and have their own little story section and level. I ran through a few ideas of it, and the best thing I could think of was them to analyse four of the heroes (Mario, Link, Marth, and Pikachu) and make clones of them that are altered slightly to be their own (Dr. Mario, Young Link (from MM with the four transformation masks), Roy, and Pichu respectfully). And have the one behind it all be Mewtwo (with his intentions to be to stop Tabuu).
I am aware that Roy is technically his own character already, but so many people consider him to be a clone of Marth (much like Falco is to Fox and Ganondorf is to Capt. Falcon...BUT THEY BROUGHT THEM BACK NO PROBLEM). I honestly think they only got rid of Mewtwo because they wanted a Pokemon from the fourth generation to appeal to the younger players (that and many young players wouldn't know who Mewtwo was).
Mewtwo is awesome, Pichu gets hurt when he uses electric attacks, roy is great except his standard b move which can backfire on him, and doctor marios attacks are similar to mario's hes just a tad slow

@mario2980 mewtwo was replaced because of issues in japan and lucario doesnt have the same moveset as mewtwo mewtwo had almost the same moveset as samus younglink is basically toon link and roy is to much of a main character to be replaced they just deicided to take him out due to being to strong
pichu really was pointless, my brother was cheap as hell with roy so i grew to hate him (he wasn't a bad character, just the way that my brother played with him made him annoying). not seeing mewtwo made me sad though, he was the first character i ever got good with in melee. seeing dr. mario go also made me sad. my very first melee match mewtwo (me) vs dr. mario (my dad) in toys r us, and i'll never forget it :(

No NES ganon is not called beast ganon
1.In the manual for the three games it just says ganon for his name not beast ganon

Most would choose Lucario, but in actuality, it was unnecessary to remove any characters. The way I see it, Nintendo tried to give each series at least 3-4 characters. (Kirby team, pokemon team, zelda team.) It was planned for these characters to return, but Nintendo either 1) ran out of time, or 2) decided against adding them at the last second.
i dont think pichu and roy are needed though. pichu is just a weaker pikachu tht gets hurt by his own attacks. and roy is just like another marth or ike, or link. we already hav enough swordsman. but mewtwo was the best fuckin charcter and dr.mario was ok. like they need take out some ch

I'm not missing Young Link since Toon Link is just way better and got many more differences with the original Link.
Dr. Mario was just... Mario... But he was slower and a bit stronger I think.
I agree that replacing Mewtwo was a bad choice. Lucario is so hard to use well. (This doesn't mean he is bad, just hard to master)
Roy... When I see Ike players spamming Aether, I miss him... really much... He was a bit hard to use, but his Slashing+Fire attacks were cool.

No NES ganon is not called beast ganon
1.In the manual for the three games it just says ganon for his name not beast ganon
2.On the gba version of link to the past if you beat the four swords dungeon in the pyrimad it shows all the boss names and when it shows ganon it does not say beast ganon! It says just ganon

@NeoStevemeister Alright, now lets talk about the majority of all players of SSBB.If everyone who played Brawl had to choose who to keep and who to throw out, I think the majority would choose Lucario.I can understand why some choose Jigglypuff though, but this is just my thoughts about it.

@thisissparta12100 The majority of all players don't even give a second glance at Jigglypuff. That's the sad part. Most would choose Lucario, but in actuality, it was unnecessary to remove any characters. The way I see it, Nintendo tried to give each series at least 3-4 characters. (Kirby team, pokemon team, zelda team.) It was planned for these characters to return, but Nintendo either 1) ran out of time, or 2) decided against adding them at the last second.

i dont think pichu and roy are needed though. pichu is just a weaker pikachu tht gets hurt by his own attacks. and roy is just like another marth or ike, or link. we already hav enough swordsman. but mewtwo was the best fuckin charcter and dr.mario was ok. like they need take out some ch
