@saulanibal1 let me tell u somethimg u POS / SOB, Rick was a Damm good trooper a great man, and a close friend. Until u walk a mile in our shoes KEEP UR MOUTH SHUT!!!!! u r too much of a chicken shit to do the job!
Seeing as his cruiser was vaporized back to the firewall and then pushed in anoth foot beyond that I would venture to speculate that there was no attempt to stop, and he was suffering a medical crises before the accident occured.
shit crawfords roads are never safe u got to many young teen hauling ass and yet the police dont do a damn thing but god forbid i shoot a firecracker on the forth of july i get told im gonna get arrested cause im 18 now nad i need to grow up bla bla bla. i spent a week in crawford county jail i can tell u all this cops dont give a shit about u they wouldnt even let me keep my fuckin socks on sorry basterds
I am so terribly sorry for your loss....Im a cop in the air force and plan on being one when I am out in 3 yrs....did they ever find out why his car went into the median? once again i am sorry for ur loss
I know Rick was really sick that morning. I wonder if he had some kind of reaction to medicine or what. Some speculate, by the way his loaner car gradually veered through the median into the east bound traffic that he may have had a heart attack.
@ShiekUrBooty Do you have any idea what you are talking about? No? Ok then, this was my uncle, my nana's son, my mother's brother, and most importantly, the husband of a wonderful woman, and father of 2 sons. So, either say something nice, or go away. Thanks.
I was the first Crawford County Sheriff car on scene as well as the first police car on scene with State Police right behind me. I have never seen such a crash and hope to never again. I was still pretty new and LeBow was one of the first Troopers i met several years ago. Thanks be to those who patrol our streets and highways. Thank you Sgt. LeBow.
I am very thankful to you and all officers and paramedics and firemen for all their great work, Rick was a great friend and WONDERFUL OFFICER, THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HELP KEEP OUR ROADS AND HIGHWAYS SAFE
you know what, then I hope when someone in your family dies maybe you will think twice about saying crap like this because its our police, state troopers, deputies, fire fighters & paramedics that save lives &maybe when something like this happens to you & a state trooper or other law enforcement officer shows up, you will be thankful I warned people who made bad comments about Rick that I would delete their comments & block them from leaving comments I am deleting this message in 15 minutes
I am and will delete all comments that are rude or saying bad things about Rick, he didnt deserve to die. And saying crap like bowstring 2798 and valdocolon have said will get deleted, Rick was a wonderful man and will be missed by alot of people, and I have deleted bowstrings and valdocolon comments for the fact of what they had to say
this guy dies in the course of his duties and some of these people have no class at all. if you're going to leave a comment about someone who may have , could have, or would saved your life, make it something good .. theres not a cop on the planet that gets paid enough for what they do ! dont be an ass !! be damn glad that these people do the job that most of you would be affraid of doing !! my thoughts go the family and friends of this 27 year veteran of the public !!
I am an EMT in Crawford Co. and was one of the first to arrive on scene. I have never seen such a terrible wreck in my life and hope to never have to again. My thoughts and prayers are with the family of trooper LeBow. I just wish there were something that we could have done to save him.
you did all you could given the situation, you save lives everyday and i am very thankful for that. sometimes theres just nothing we can do, and this was one of them times, but we all know if you could have saved him you would have. we will all miss him very much
This was a bad deal! I never really knew him all that well but my sister was friends with him. I just wonder what went wrong moments before this happened?
This is so sad, Rick was a great officer and friend,my heart goes out to his family.I knew Rick when I lived in ozark now live in Oklahoma. He will always be loved and remember. May God Bless his family.

His eyes were real close together - is that redneck inbreeding?
No offence Hank, Bud, Homer, Chuck & Laura - just curious, I'm sure he was a real swell fella.

Sick = impaired. If you're sick and or medicating yourself, stay the hell off the road.
