  • My horse was on a feedlot in Washington a year and a half ago, awaiting slaughter. I adopted her and got her off the lot with the help of Columbia Basin Equine Rescue. This was our first show ever and I'm very proud of what we have accomplished since we have been together. This is a wonderful horse and someone just dumped her off to be killed for meat.

    I hope our elected politicians finally do the right thing and outlaw the export of America's horses for slaughter.
