  • It's amazing how much stuff you can do in nature with a knife and string

  • i think a regular figur 4 dead fall trap is better

  • I prefer snares myself...

  • Nice idea, but I think the whole trap would have to be a lot bigger and the log + rock a lot heavier to really inflict damage to the prey...

  • FAIL!!!!!!! i did try it. like what urs.. it not good!

  • sure the animal will move the stick simply bait the trigger u all whom are neg lets see ur traps ..... good job john jay

  • will never ever work .....to slow and a animal will never push the stick so bad trap

  • correct, more weight will not make it faster, but it does not need to be faster. what more weight will do though is increase the inertia, therefore increasing the crushing force of the trap. more inertia equals harder to stop which equals more force applied to the object between the trap

  • should the distance between the rock and the main stick be farther? That way it comes down with a bit more force maybe? Maybe ill try it

  • pathetic....

  • @TheNax129 it needs more spring to it. it is too loose.

  • Interesting design indeed, actually caught anything with it before?

  • i thought a deadfall tyrap was a hole (scuse my english im french) with spikes putting in the poo before to make you an infection and you fall in .. anyway good job GI

  • thats a fail trap its not coming down fast enough

the animal will get away because theres not enough force hitting the other log

  • YEP AND YOU'RE BLOCKED

  • Hey i recodnize this! There were a bunch of traps like this one in

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Except.... those ones had spikes on them...

  • lol yea your right! now i know what i was watching.

  • is this trap fast enough to kill squirrels

  • maybe , but I'd go with the deadfall trap or a figure 4 ,

  • i think that is too slow ...mhh try it with more stones , yeah i know my english is bad ...

  • too slow???

it dosent matter how much rocks u put on it its still gona be the same speed heavier dosent make it faster

  • youre right, more rocks wouldnt make it faster. but he does need another rock so it will strike with more force :)

  • more rocks wouldn't make it noticably faster but it would touch the other side faster

  • sounds good, didnt even notice :)

  • I was just wondering, isnt your backyard too dangerous for your rabbit? :D

I mean it's full of theese traps :D

    5/5

  • sick man but without the big rock did was it as effective bcus it might like just swing the other way or somtin idnt no man :P

  • I like all of your other traps but this one it seems like it would be quite uneffective but idk maybe it works great

  • is small game snare trapping illegal?

I know that trapping bears, wild dogs and deer is, and it should be because it's cruel...

it's not right to kill a 400 lbs bear by choking it...

    '

  • ? who are you replying to? lol

  • i don,t know lol

  • ohhhhhhhhhhh deadfull lol

  • sweet!

  • is that your rabbit in the backround or are u gonna kill it with the deadfall?

  • you know what works better?

same as this except you split a log in two and put the weight on the outside of the swinging arm, the flatter surface of the split log flattens and kills more effectively and is more precise then your rounded rock. not bagging on ya, just some advice.

  • It might if it were made to hold a bigger stone, or if it were simply a smaller version of a much larger trap. Of course you'd need a few more people to set up the log and stone parts.

  • What types of animals have you caught using that trap

  • Good video!!!!!

  • thanks

  • hey dude nice jobs with your traps you think you could tell me of any rabbit trap but not a snare i have been try so hard to try to kill or catch this rabbit i am 11 so it is hard to think of ideas but i do make many things whicht a plan to put on youtube

  • are you planning on eating this rabbit???

  • nice 5

  • nicely done. how much does that rock weigh?

  • not sure mate i,ll see if i can find out

  • Excellent Trap Indeed.

  • very nice 5/5 looks easy to set and really sensitive

  • nice man.

hmm, how about a biger log/rock??

  • yeah you could do

  • excellent 5/5
