  • Ashu Dechen estava certa! Devo ir até o Tsem Rinpoche e ficar por lá ...

  • A wonderful compassionate and dynamic teacher - we are very fortunate to be able to receive teachings and blessings from such great Dharma teachers

    - It is possible to receive blessings through youtube! - Emaho!!!

  • I think Kechara House has grown by leaps and bounds under the great leadership of HE Tsem Tulku Rinpoche and his liaisons. The meteoric rise of the organization will become legendary in our lifetime. Just watch! HE is not an ordinary Lama.

  • It is a rather nice introduction to our lineage, our monastery and Kechara House. However so much has developed since this video was made that there are so much more departments not mentioned in here. Check out kechara(dot)com for this.

  • It is really neat to watch this over and over again. I never tire from watching the video of the monks of Gaden Monastery. They just exude pure serenity and peace, something lacking these days in our hectic materialistic lives.

  • Those wishing to share this beautiful and informative video can purchase it on kechara(dot)com. It is called Journey to Gaden.

  • To watch the full length video, please search for Tsem Tulku Rinpoche Goes Home on youtube. There are 4 videos for this title and they are the more comprehensive clips from which this video is taken from.

  • I also think it is great that Kechara has members from all walks of life. This shows that Dharma is applicable to anyone and everyone. Also, Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's organisation has various departments, so it can attract different type of people to join in.

  • I like this video because the facts are there, yet it is not scholastic nor boring. It's short, simple and gave us info re Gelukpa, Gaden, and Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, all very simple. I like this video a lot!

  • Yes, I am sure the donation will be put to good use for the monastery, and also the various departments in Kechara that benefits many, for example, the Dharma Centre and also Kechara Soup Kitchen.

  • Yes, I find it amazing that Tsem Tulku Rinpoche was recognised as the incarnation of one of Gadens great abbot, and this life, Rinpoches back in Gaden again. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche really has affinity with Gaden.

  • You can find out more about Rinpoche on his website Tsemtulku(dot)com. Rinpoche was ordained by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and he studied in Gaden Monastery, India where his reincarnation was formally recognised.

  • Through this video, I not only know more about Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, but much basic Dharma knowledge like why we offer khata, incense, statues and a lot more. Thank you very much for this video.

  • This is a very educational video. It's simple and straight forward with relevant explanation and photos. Thank you for putting this video up and I am very inspired to visit Gaden one day. Thank you Kechara!

  • Kechara House has pure lineage with the presence of H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche and the Malaysians are very lucky to have Rinpoche and Kechara House right at home. Besides regular dharma classes for adults and children, they even organise annual debate competition to train people in logic and quick wisdom.

  • If you would like more, you can support by purchasing download on neonlama(dot)com. There are more teachings there in video and audio format. There are e-books there and also many of Rinpoches teaching videos in high quality format.

  • Kechara House works so hard and they're so devoted. I am sure this is because of the Lama's kindness in pushing them to go all the way and spending time with them and giving them advice to go further, like how we witness in these videos on youtube.

  • I rejoice in the production of this documentary, and all the videos on youtube. These videos have brought benefits to many, including myself. Please continue to put up these videos. There are hundreds of videos with different topics on Tsemtulku account and there are many views and comments. You can see how beneficial it is through these stats.

  • Drepung, Gaden and Sera are called The Great Three Gelukpa monastic universities of Tibet. Drepung and Sera were built by Je Tsongkhapas disciples. I read the story from Kechara Media & Publications comic book The Legend of Tsongkhapa. Its really easy to read, but it is only available in Chinese for now. You can purchase the book at Kechara(dot)com e-shop, vajrasecrets(dot)com, and all Kechara Paradise outlets.

  • Supporting the sangha of Gaden and providing them with necessities is really a very kind deed, because I know that Mundgod is not that easy to access and also, it is hard to get the resources at such a remote area. There is also another monastery near Gaden, called Drepung.

  • It is great fortune for people in Kechara to have such a close relationship with a high lama. We can see from the many videos on youtube, how close his students are with Rinpoche and it is a very great blessing indeed to be near ones Guru and be trained directly instead of learning from Dharma texts.

  • HE Tsem Tulku Rinpoche comes from Gaden Shartse Monastery, which was established by Lama Tsongkhapa himself. Because of this, Kechara House, his organization is considered as an extension of the monastery itself.

You can support Kechara by visiting kecharahouse(dot)com or kechara(dot)com. You can even donate via Paypal to help. All donation will go towards sustaining the departments and its various departments.

  • I visited Kecharas Wesak Fair recently and Kechara was full of activities. There was a fair at the field and there was many stalls selling various items yes, confession of a shopaholic!

There was also a blood donation drive, pet adoption as well and many more. I got to watch the debate finals and also attended the refuge taking ceremony and Dharma talk LIVE!!!! I was soooo excited and I am still high from that, hehe.

  • Yes I agree. Usually we are quite used to the nice soft spoken monks who teach meditation and compassion, and quoting scriptures. Tsem Tulku Rinpoches straight to the heart of the matter with no padding is a totally different approach. But I do like Rinpoches way of teaching though, it is more direct.

  • I think Tsem Tulku Rinpoche reminds me of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche. By the way there are videos of Tsem Tulku Rinpoche talking about how teachers like Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche and Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche who use unconventional methods to teach Dharma.

I think Tsem Tulku Rinpoches way of conveying the Dharma is also unconventional.

  • What a great Lama! He reminds me of masters like Lama Yeshe and Chogyam Trungpa with their unconventional methods of conveying the Dharma. I am deeply moved by such great master's skillful means.

  • It is great to know the life story of H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche and also how Kechara House came about. Kechara organisation now has 12 departments and it is still growing. What a dynamic organisation.

  • You can help by becoming a regular volunteer that goes out with the teams to distribute food in certain areas in the city.

You can also help to pack the food before delivery. If you can do first aid, this will be very helpful as sometimes the homeless have cuts and wounds that needs to be cleaned.

  • You can help by becoming a regular volunteer that goes out with the teams to distribute food in certain areas in the city. You can also help to pack the food before delivery. If you can do first aid, this will be very helpful as sometimes the homeless have cuts and wounds that needs to be cleaned.

  • What does the people in Kechara Soup Kitchen do at the moment? They just give out food weekly? What can I do if I volunteer?

  • I feel that Kechara House is full with all sorts of people, there are fashion designers, jet-setting business people, celebrities, young and old from all walks of life. I think this is because Rinpoche preaches that we can be who we are, as long as we practise Dharma, hold our vows and practise kindness, generosity and compassion.

  • I love His Emininence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche teachings, his teachings are simple and easy to apply in daily lives. Yet, they are based on profound Dharma teachings or practices, thats what I like about it.

  • Wow, one more itinerary when I visit Kechara organisation. There are so many things to do I dont know if my few days visit would be enough. Hmm, perhaps I have to book Kechara Guest House for a month, haha.

  • I read that Kechara Oasis was opened by one of Tsem Tulku Rinpoches students, to promote vegetarianism and non-violence towards animals and they serve delicious, fresh and healthy international vegetarian cuisine of Chinese, Tibetan, Vietnamese and Western.

  • Wow, the Tibetan momos look sooooooo delicious, and the Tibetan Butter Tea, I wonder if it smells of Yak, hehehehe. I think the Asa Bhima, the Tibetan pastry looks absolutely delicious!

  • Hey, the latest addition is Kechara Oasis, a new age vegetarian restaurant serving healthy fresh vegetarian cuisine! Check out the fabulous food on this youtube video entitled: Fabulous Kechara Oasis Vegetarian Restaurant featured on TV!!!!

  • His Eminence is so kind to take on challenge to teach Dharma in Malaysia. Malaysia is a very nice country with nice people, but I dont think Dharma there is as strong as in Taiwan, although there are quite a number of Dharma Centers there.

  • Kechara House is a branches from Gaden Monastery, as the Spiritual Advisor H. E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche is from Gaden Monastery. Rinpoche has learnt from various masters, and was sent by the monastery to teach Dharma in Malaysia.

  • How great, that means Kechara is spreading the unbroken lineage of Lama Tsongkhapa teachings as they follow the tradition of Gaden Monastery, the monastery founded by Lama Tsongkhapa himself!

  • I have been to a few activities at Kechara House, and the people are very nice, warm, and sincere. You can see that they are really interested and practice Dharma. Kechara Houses activities are based on true lineage.

  • What you have mentioned is only 1 department of the Kechara organisation. There are other departments you can visit or volunteer, for example Kechara Saraswati Arts, Kechara Soup Kitchen, the publishing house Kechara Media & Publications, and so on.

  • Kechara House really have a lot of activities daily, the pujas include Setrap Puja in both English and Chinese, Medicine Puja, Dzambala Puja, Lamrim Class, Manjushri Kids Class, Manjushri Class in both English and Chinese etc.

  • You can watch ALL the videos on this account, and you can also purchase Dharma teaching videos by Tsem Tulku Rinpoche from kechara(dot)com eshop or support Rinpoches students at vajrasecrets(dot)com.

  • Nice documentary. Perhaps Kechara Media & Publications should consider making a longer video since this is SHORT!!! I love this video, how can I get more videos?

  • This is a very informative video, not only it gives me a lot of info on Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, it actually explained Tibetan Buddhism, Lama Tsongkhapa & his lineage, the Dalai Lama, Gaden and so on. Great video!

  • If you wish to visit Kechara, there is a Kechara Guest House on top of Kechara House 2, the Dharma Centre and you can occupy yourself with daily pujas or attend Dharma classes, volunteering at Kechara Saraswati Arts, shop for beautiful ritual items or gifts at Kechara Paradise outlets, give food to the homeless with Kechara Soup Kitchen and so on.

  • You can join the online Kechara community soon sand keep in touch with Kechara via youtube, twitter, and sign up for the online newsletter. There is news every day on Kecharahouse(dot)com, and youtubes weekly.

  • This video is really a good introduction about Gaden Monastery and the Gelug tradition. I wish there is a Kechara House in my country, it feels very warm and a close, fun, active community. May be I come for a short stay in Kechara? Is it possible?

  • I like Tsem Tulku Rinpoche because he is consistent. His teachings are the same, his mannerisms are the same, his motivation is the same. You can deduce this from watching his youtube videos of Eight Verses of Thought Transformation. This was from 1998!

  • Thats' right. And they engage in schismatic talk and its very bad. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche promotes inter-centre, inter-sect and interfaith/religious harmony. Rinpoche mentioned a lot about these topics in his book Gurus for Hire Enlightenment for Sale.

  • Yes, I agree. Theres not much talk about politics either, which is good. I dislike forums when they become too political and condemn Sangha/ practice/ tradition. Makes me sick! I like Tsemtulku forum because the moderators are very friendly and the posts are informative.

  • Find out more about Tsem Tulku at tsemtulkuDOTcom. You'll also be able to find out more about Rinpoche, his background, his gurus, etc. Theres a forum that's administered by his students too if you wish to discuss or make enquiry regarding Rinpoches teachings or Dharma in general. I like the forum because they are unbias towards any tradition or practice.

  • Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's teachings which have benefited me in all possible ways, especially psychologically and also on how I react and interact with others. And this is FREE! Dont miss out, watch the videos today!

  • Thank you for posting all the wonderful Tsem Tulku Rinpoches videos on You Tube. I've learned so much Dharma in such a short time its as if I had gone for a short course away from home, BUT I didnt have to leave home, thanks to Tsem Tulku Rinpoche.

  • I agree with you BetteCC, it's such a privilege to have a Rinpoche from the great Gaden Monastery in Malaysia heading a Dharma Centre that has an authentic lineage and direct connection to the monastery. This means Rinpoche is not on his own and he has the backing and support of the whole Gaden sangha.

  • It is such blessing that Kechara House has guidance of HE Tsem Tulku Rinpoche who teaches dharma in warm, care and humor way hence lay people can learn and understand and practise dharma to become better person in order to help others. Rinpoche provide opportunity to each member to develop love and compassion by transferring wisdom in every of his teachings.

  • This is a new age or new way of teachings that really can attract young people to come in and practise Dharma......I love this way, while practising dharma, we still can have fun....This is the skillful from Rinpoche to teach the dharma......

  • Kechara House Rocks in Malaysia here.....I've been to their social events like Karaoke night, it was so much fun and full with performance, unforgetable and KSK Fund Raising events last year at Shang Hotel, everyone wearing their nicest gown that night and full with joyful performance as well....This is where i like Kechara House...always have something new for ppl to practise dharma and enjoy while practising.....

  • I have visited the Vajrasecret website, and i do found alot of Buddha statues and Pendants that i like, already put in the order, hope i can received my statues and pendant soon.......

  • Beside Outlet, Kechara House do have a department called - Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK), where they sponsored and distribute food to those homeless people around the street. I join them b4, and is kinda fun and it does touch my heart when i looked at those ppl sleeping at the street......

  • Glad to heard that, this is a very good way to share Dharma and spread Dharma.....I believe this must be alot of hardwork been to put to the student from Rinpoche.....Keep it up, will pay a visit to the outlet when i'm visit Msia,.......

  • I did talk to the volunteers in the outlets before, all of them very knowledgeable, and friendly, there are not like those department store or shop in the shopping complex, where the sales ppl is asking you to buy buy buy.....But in Kechara Paradise, all the staff or volunteer is different, they never force me to buy anything, and we have a good dharma sharing session there....

  • Sometime when i visit the outlets, there are some volunteer, who actually vonlunteering their time and helping out in the Outlets....very good to see the people really do dharma work and wish to benefits others.......

  • Hahaha...i bought my Medicine Buddha Statues, make from Nepal from Kechara Paradise in SS2, besides that, they have lotsa different incense (from Nepal) i can purchase it and make offerings.......

  • Ohh yeah, i've been to the Outlet in Bangsar, the staff there is very helpful, especially the sales person called - May, she explain to me every single items in the outlets......

  • Kechara House has many departments, and one of the departments is the Outlet which we call - Kechara Paradise, where they sell alot of nice Tibetan Statues, Tsa Tsa, Offerings, Mandala and etc.....everyone should pay a visit to this beautiful outlets......

  • I like the Tsongkhapa's 5 visions thangka at [time 4:01]

We can get it from vajrasecrets(dot)com.

They also have many beautiful buddha statues and many tibetan buddhist ritual items too.

  • Yes many high lamas, incarnation , monks , because of the love of dharma and their altruistic mind they have to live in south India under difficult and harsh conditions . I fold my hand to all of them and His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche for bringing the dharma to lay peope like myself. Without these selfless beings we would not even have one word of dharma illuminated so clearly and with so much skill.

  • Tsem Tulku rinpoche , may you have long life to continue imparting precious dharma teachings to us all on youtube.

  • Thank you for a great introduction on Tsongkhapa and Gelukpa/ Gaden. Tsongkhapa have performed millions of prostrations, mandala offerings and other forms of purification practice and Tsongkhapa often had visions of meditational deities and especially of Manjushri, with whom he could communicate directly to clarify difficult points of the scriptures. How great, the founder of Gaden Monastery, I prostrate to you Lord Manjugosha Je Rinpoche.

  • Oh the famous winter debate, Jamyang Gunchoe. Well, Kechara House also started its own Annual Manjugosha Debate in 2008. How interesting. There are many videos on youtube for the 2008 and also 2009 debates. Search for Annual Manjugosha Debate to see interesting clips and some are very funny, hehe. I enjoyed learning from the clips very much.

  • Also, I found out that Tsem Tulku Rinpoche also sponsored the food for the annual Jamyang Gunchoe debate where monks from Gaden, Sera and Drepung gather that lasts a whole month.

There were 240 Gaden Shartse monks who went to the debate and the cost of sponsoring three meals a day for them for one month is around 200,000 Indian rupees.

  • The example I can give is that Tsem Rinpoche was sent overseas to raise fund to build extension to the monk hostel of Phukang Khangtsen. Also, other Rinpoches or Geshe who went out of the monastery to teach, usually they will offer back the monastery a lot of funds, raised from their centre they established or the centre that they teach at.

  • I now realize how much the monastery needs support from daily expenses and also from events like the debate. You can see that the amount is huge as there are 3000 monks daily and they need to eat. Even food itself must have cost a bomb already, and the monks are not supposed to do outside work so they cant fund themselves. Gaden really needs help!

  • Rinpoches or geshes teaching outside the monastery are supposed to help and get sponsors for many things for the monastery. I think many people had the idea that Rinpoches are being supported by the monastery. It is the other way round actually, and these Rinpoches who teach in foreign countries usually are the people who bring in the funds to help the monasteries always.

  • If you read on the website, theres also another letter from Gaden Shartse requesting for sponsorship of office furniture and other equipment. Rinpoche must have helped the monastery a lot that he was on the list of sponsors.

  • Do you know that Gaden Shartse hospital offered a beautiful Medicine Buddha thangka to Rinpoche and Kechara House? The thangka now is hanging on the wall of Kechara House. They also requested His Eminence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche to live long and turn the wheel of Dharma.

  • yoshirolisette - By offering the Medicine buddha Thangka it sounds like the monks of ganden are requesting His Eminence to live long for the benefit of many more beings who will come into contact with him in the future. I also pray that His Eminence lives as long possible to fulfill all his works and bring the dharma to South East Asia.

  • Tsem Tulku Rinpoche and Kechara House really put a lot of effort into the welfare of the monks in Gaden! We should support them all the way when possible! It is amazing how these people from Kechara who have not seen Gaden Monastery before the trip to commit to offer so much fund and also assistance to Gaden Monastery.

  • Tsem Tulku Rinpoche and Kechara House have raised the amount requested by the Abbot in full and this took around 1 year to raise the funds from individuals of different countries. It is not easy but they did it. Very inspiring.

  • Wow, I didnt know that Kechara House also helped in getting the hospital equipped etc as the video didnt mention details. This is great as I heard there are many monks, especially the older ones have health problems and it is very difficult to seek medical help in remote areas like Mundgod.

  • Do you know that the monastery has written a thank you letter to Tsem Tulku Rinpoche for his continuous contribution and support to the monastery?

You can read them on Kechara Houses website kecharahouse(DOT)com. There are 2 letters there. One is to thank Rinpoche and Kechara House for donating to Gaden Shartse Norling clinic.

  • Hey guys, Tsem Tulku Rinpoche has 3 main teachings on Setrap on youtube: 1. Setrap Chinese Puja Talk (with Chinese translation) - Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, 2. SETRAP Superstar (4 videos), 3. SETRAP - The Great Protector of Gaden Shartse.

  • Lord Setrap is a very ancient protector and his presence can be dated back to Lord Shakyamunis time and it is the practice of the whole Gaden Shartse monastery. I feel very connected to this protector whos fierce yet compassionate as he is the emanation of Lord Amitabha.

  • I heard that the practice in Kechara House is the same as Gaden. And that they have a Setrap chapel in Kechara House, similar to the Setrap chapel in Gaden Monastery with lots of pearls offerings.

  • Following the invasion of Tibet by China and destruction of Gaden in Tibet, two hundred monks of Gaden, who managed to escape the invasion by fleeing out to India felt the strong responsibility to re-establish Gaden. The present Gaden Monastery was re-established in 1969 in Mundgod, in the Southern State of Karnataka, India, with well planned programs to preserve the educational, spiritual and cultural activities of historical Gaden monastery.

  • Wow, what a historic establishment. I know that the current Gaden Monastery was re-established in 1969 in Mundgod, India after many monks were exiled, right?

  • The full name of this monastery recorded in the Chronicle of Geluk Tradition Authored by the Regent Desi Sangye Gyatso in late sixteenth century is Gaden Nampar Gyalwai Ling. In 1409, after the completion of Grand Prayer Festival in Lhasa, Tsongkhapa decided to build up Gaden Monastery in the Central Tibet hillside of Drogri Mountain, a calm, peaceful and highly suitable place for spiritual development.

  • I believe in reincarnation and that Rinpoche is a Bodhisattva. Rinpoche was born with Tibetan and Mongolian blood, so Dharma is Rinpoches root culture. Rinpoche grew up in America so that Rinpoche understands how lay peoples daily experiences are, and also for Rinpoche to speak fluent English. I am pretty sure that all these are premeditated and that Rinpoche planned out his rebirth.

  • Later, he had to leave his paradise of Gaden to teach in a totally foreign land Malaysia. And through all of this, Rinpoches motivation was Dharma and the results was Dharma growth and nothing else. What a very inspiring Buddhist!

  • I truly believe Tsem Tulku Rinpoche is a Bodhisattva amongst men. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche are always in Dharma, since a very young age, and pushes himself through hardship etc to do Dharma. He ran away from his abusive home to join a Dharma centre, and later left comfortable America to starve and be poverty stricken in Gaden Monastery for Dharma.

  • Tsem Tulku Rinpoche is one of the few high lamas that goes out and of beautiful Gaden Monastery to spread Dharma, and support the monastery through establishing Dharma community/ centres out there. What a sacrifice it must have been, to be away from the holy Gaden Monastery with beautiful spiritual environment to samsaric world out there with materialistic world.

  • Thank you for this video. I didn't know that TSongkhapa has done a lot of practies, for example to have performed millions of prostrations, mandala offerings and others that he could have visions of Manjushri. Wow, I thought he's a just a scholar.

  • I have great faith in the Gelugpa tradition which has a high amount of scholastic activity in it. I mean the argument that if you don't study , how do you know what to meditate on . However we cannot be just intellectual parrots we also must be able to act out what we have learnt by engaging in dharma work , practice and in our daily life. its must be a balance between wisdom and method.

  • yoshirolisette - I would recommend doing prostrations as a preliminary it has tremendous amount of benefits. it helps lower our ego , so we can learn with open mind. Also purifying our negativities we avoid encountering obstacles in the future , if we have less negativity in our hearts and mind learning the dharm is much much easier. A side benefit is we get a nice body !! :)

  • Thanks Nalanda2010 for your explanation on the benefits of doing prostration as preliminary. Mmm.. I surely need that side effect too! Hehe... anyway, can you explain a bit how to go about the prostration, like mantra to recite or how many times we need to do in one day, etc. Thank you.

  • Tsem Tulku Rinpoche has deep respect for his Gurus and the monks in Gaden Monastery. Rinpoche's continuous effort to support Gaden Monastery and Rinpoches staying in Malaysia are indicators that Rinpoche really follow his Gurus instruction.

  • Bubbleof Bliss, Lama Tsongkhapa guru devotion is so great that despite Manjushri appearing in his vision , he thought of it as a demon until his Lama , Lama Umapa a nyingma adept confirmed it for him. Examples of other people with great Guru Devotion is His eminence Tsem Rinpoche that is why he is very successful , Milarepa and etc . Could it be Guru devotion is the short cut to enlgihtenment?

  • Bubbleofblis : yes the feeling I get is when the KH peopl come together to do beneficial work they are truly united and in harmony . I felt the energy during the Wesak day was very very good and nice.

  • There is a picture of Tsem Tulku Rinpoche sitting next to the recent incarnation of Kyabje Zong RInpoche and also HH the current Gaden Tripa. I think it is amazing that one can meet ones Root Guru in another of his incarnation. It shows that Tsem Tulku Rinpoche has clean samaya or bond with his Guru.

  • Wow, the puja is really great with so many monks and the energy is so different strong, forceful and very spiritual. Woah, I wish I was there to suck in all this positive spiritual energy.

  • The Yonghe Temple , also known as the "Palace of Peace and Harmony Lama Temple", the "Yonghe Lamasery", or - popularly - the "Lama Temple" is a temple and monastery of the Geluk School of Tibetan Buddhism located in the northeastern part of Beijing, China. It is one of the largest and most important Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in the world. The building and the artworks of the temple combine Han Chinese and Tibetan styles.

  • From Rinpoche's actions, we can see that he really is motivated to benefit all sentient beings. Rinpoches help to support a community of 3000 monks is equivalent to supporting an institution that spread teachings and methods that help all sentient beings to achieve happiness and liberation.

Not only that, Rinpoche also has to think about the growth and maintaining Kechara organisation that has 12 departments in Malaysia. Thats a huge responsibility.

  • I heard that Tsem Tulku Rinpoche is renowned in Gaden monastery for his meditations, his extensive retreats and for his Guru Devotion. Rinpoche also helped the monastery immensely, for example, building monk hostels, monthly donation of groceries to poor Tibetan families and so on.

  • I didnt know Kechara House was an affiliate of Gaden. Wow, this is great. I can see the link between Kechara House and the great Gaden Monastery, how the pujas and practice are based on those being practiced in Gaden Monastery.

  • yes s'pregirl for me the strength of Kechara House is the close connection with ganden . As we all need to know the teacher and lineages are authentic and have a lineage going all the way back to buddha Shakyamuni . And The monasteries they do take a great interest in their members work who are out of their monasteries .

  • KH is like Santa Claus. They really know how to spread the Dharma through generosity. Rinpoche always advice his students to be generous not just in money but in time and effort. So newbies and oldies alike, return kindness by fulfilling our commitments and stick with KH and think of it as your spiritual home...

  • I was so surprised when they presented with gifts of a lama tsongkhapa tsa tsa , CD's and some booklets. I can clearly sense that they cared.

  • ragger , I personally believe that the kechara People are very united in wanting to develop more spirituality in their hearts. If we all could be happy within worldly concerns and knowledege we all do not need to be involved in any spiritual activities . I guess what is spiritual is that we work towards happiness of not only this life but future lives , and that we subscribe to the fact that after life there is somewhere that we go to . Death is not the end!

  • The first time that I went to Kechara House center , the staffs were so patient in explaining to me what the organization did .

  • Kechara House is a haven for us to find our true self and also find the truth about life. Realising from that, one transform and dedicate all the effort to make their and others lives happier

  • the volunteers will not be forgotten, in fact they have been rewarded by Rinpoche's wonderful Dharma talk held on the same day. This Dharma center is just so happening.

  • Everybody basically worked so hard to make this event such a hit not forgetting the volunteers who did so much from setting up to clearing up. They have worked non-stop for the success of Dharma! Rejoice!

  • Being so far away , just by seeing the many activities and departments that have sprung up , kechara house people really put in a lot of effort to promote the dharma and bring benefit to others. Please keep it up , even posting up the youtubes there is a lot of dedicated people behind that.

  • it is through the hardwork of the organising committee that manifested such a successful event. This is the first time that Kechara House has organized such a big event. Congratulations!

  • The fair hosted Line Dancing, Brazilian Martial Arts Performance, Food fair, Fashion fair, Animal Adoption Campaign, shoulder massage, Free health check, Blood Donation Drive, Bathing Lord Dzambala the Buddha of Wealth, Light Offerings, Book Fair plus many many more! Modern and vibrant! Kudos to Kechara House for organizing such a highly successful event.

  • The Wesak Fair organized by Kechara House was a hit! Its unbelievable successful and very well organized event that Kechara House has put up with. Massive turnout for the fair and Rinpoches Dharma talk.

  • i was there too, what a massive turnout, they even had a live telecast broadcast over in their Kechara House 2 (Buddha Oasis) where everybody get to sit comfortably listening to Tsem Rinpoche's wonderful Dharma talk

  • oh so they have two diffferent center and they broadcast the proceedings in one center to the other center that is clever use of technology.

  • good for you saraswatiarts! Tsem Rinpoche gave refuge seekers a brilliant oral transmission of migtsema and gave a teaching on taking refuge and the 7 limb prayer of migtsema

  • I was there during His Eminence Tsem Rinpoches talk on Wesak day I was so lucky to be there when His Eminence gave the oral transmission of the Migtsema.

  • Changkya Rolpa Dorje who was a tutor to the Chinese emperor Qian Long his current incarnation is the peerless Kyabjye Phabongka Rinpoche .

  • Yes though our lives is more convenient but the time we humans have is the same , still 24 hours per day . Especially urban folks have to deal with so much information all the time and materialism is all around us . Its quite a lot of mental suffering actually.

  • Actually this video is like a wake up call for me and the rest of the planet . How much can we distract ourselves. Eventually when our youth is sapped, we still have to facing our thoughts all by ourselves better to face them now!

  • I find it so ironical that the Chinese Emperors used to be Tibetan Buddhism practitioners but now the Chinese Communists are doing their utmost to have a hand in Tibetan Buddhism matters. How can worldly people dictate matters that are within the realms of the spiritual aspirants ?

  • The Wesak day seems to have been celebrated with a lot of creativity . Yes we all want to be spiritual , we also like to spend meaningful moments with our friends and family within a spiritual environment.

  • The doing mind gets us into trouble over and over again. By keeping ourselves busy we think we can be happy how silly!

  • I was at Yong He Gong in Beijing I saw many protectors and also higher tantric deities on the sides away from the main deities .I also saw Yamantaka at Bei Hai park , standing and watching over the Forbidden Palace what amazing imagery !

  • Oh yes I was in Yong He Gong and I saw a really huge Lama Tsongkhapa there. Massive and awe inspiring . Too bad the temple is not very well kept by the Chinese.

  • I believe the current Ganden Monastery has now been relocated to South India and now is thriving with about 3000+ monks there now.

  • Bossanova : I bought a white tara amber pendant a few weeks ago, i love it so much. Since it's amber, it's very light. I don't think it's on the website, but I'm sure the friendly outlets staff will be able to help you out.

  • The best things of the night is Rinpcoeh actually grace the Wesak Day, and Rinpoche give a very good Dharma talk about Taking Refuge and grant Refuge to all the refuge taker......an evening full with Dharma Knowledge, Gaden Lhagyama Prayers and Dedication with Rinpoche......

  • The debate was the highlights for Wesak Day, it was so fun and so exciting, I'm so glad and happy to watch the Debate in Kechara House, as no others place i can watch except Monastery, and i do learn up alot of things from the session. • Yeah, I was told that for this year's Wesak Day, KH has even more activities in addition to the usual bathing of Buddha, prayers, vegetarian foods, debate and bazaar; there will be blood donations, pets adoption as well... If I'm not mistaken, there'll be Dharma talk at night by Rinpoche himself. Wow.. full day activities...

  • Wesak celebrations is coming soon in Malaysia. Kechara House has lots in store for that day. Check it out on kecharahouse(dot)com

  • Wonderful organization and what a great Lama! He reminds me of Lama Yeshe with his unconventional methods of conveying the Dharma. I am deeply moved by such great master's skillful means.

  • "yogis who have power to eject their minds.." what's that???

Anyway, I just know that Tushita Heaven is the same heaven where Shakyamuni Buddha was residing before descend and took his last rebirth as Buddha. It was said that he passed his throne (or Crown?) to Maitreya Buddha who will be the next Buddha after him. Mmm... so like that, Je Tosongkhapa or Atisha should be the following one after Maitreya Buddha?

  • How we know how and where Lama Tsongkhapa sits in Gaden pure realm is because of certain yogis who have mastered the practice of powa or mind transference. This practice enables them to eject their mind to a pure realm like Gaden.

  • Wow... yogis can achieve such a high level eh? I mean to 'see' a pure realm... These yogis must be great masters... interesting info. I can never imagine any normal human being can have such a high level of mind control...

  • Did you guys know that Gaden is Tibetan for Tushita or Joyous Abode. That is the pure realm of Maitreya Buddha, current a Bodhisattva awaiting his time to descend and incarnate on earth. Lama Tsonkhapa's main emanation now sits at the left side of Maitreya's throne while Atisha is on the right side. Many powerful yogis who have the power to eject their minds there have witnessed this...

  • Wow Rinpoche drew those little Green Tara and Buddha Shakyamuni when he was young. Check out the pictures at 6:38-6:41. He really is a Tulku as he has been doing Dharma since he was a little boy!

  • Of course Rinpoche is a real Tulku. He was recognised and confirmed by HH Dalai Lama as well as the Dharma Protector in Gaden. Anyway, as you said, he had great interests in dharma since very young. This just proven that doing comes natural to him because that is his true nature.

  • i thought this video is just so nicely done and very meaningful, a lot of people will be touched emotionally after watching this video. the center has grown ever since and now has 12 depts under the guidance of H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche.

  • ninje08, oh like that I will see how i can help KSK but not involve with distributing foods directly. It is a good opportunity for to do a little of charity works.

  • we can also get involve in their donation and awareness creating campaign to help them to get more public exposure... this is a good way to promote this virtuous act.

  • Thanks wooyoo65. I have contacted the person in-charge of KSK and offer to help. Seems there will be a campaign booth set up at 1U shopping center in middle of May. I have signed up to help there :)

  • Good informative video on Rinpoche, Kechara House and their backgrounds. And I learn little about the history of Tsongkhapa and the monaastery he founded; Gaden.

  • Actually for those who cant walk too much, you can still help KSK by helping in other areas like packing the foods or get sponsorship and donations. Today I went there to help preparing the food packets at KH2. Though I cant help with their distribution rounds, at least I can still contribute a bit... I enjoy it very much & will definitely go to help more often.

  • yeah, i would also like to bring in friends to volunteer as well! KSK always in need of help such as packing of food, sponsoring of cooked food, fruits and also clothes.

  • I love Kechara Soup Kitchen too! Like you, I have known quite a few of them so far and you can see more in the midnight rounds where all of them are there sleeping on the streets!

  • By doing KSK has made me treat people much more nicer and value their respect especially the unfortunate ones. I see the word suffering through their eyes.

  • I have coped well so far with them and the volunteers are all from all walks of life combining resources to help out. Not only that, this is where we can see the true sufferings of people who are less fortunate than us.

  • For me, I will always have Kechara Soup Kitchen close to my hearts. I would always go down and volunteer the food giving rounds during even my most tired times.

  • I like Kechara Soup Kitchen and Kechara Saraswati Arts Dept too because the volunteering time is just nice for me. Thats the time I am actually quite free. My kids are quite grown up now and I would like to bring them to do Dharma work too!

  • I can even do my prayers there too! Meditation is not a problem at all as there is ample space and the place is just so peaceful! Soothing and nice!

  • Of all, I would love the Mother of all departments, Kechara House the temple itself, I would love to volunteer helping to clean the center from time to time or do some water offerings.

  • Wow I learnt something new with this video. Gaden Monastery was found by Lama Tsongkhapa himself 600 years ago and its amazing that this huge Buddhist institution is surviving! How meritorious to support it. Kechara House is doing great work to support it here in Malaysia.
