blitz is like the geddy lee of metal. let me explain. when i was a kid(im 33 now) first time i heard over kill and i heard blitz sing i was like what the fuck. his voice was so different like geddy lees more i listened i realized how essential it was to the music. fucking amazing. overkill crushes every band in the big 4. i love all those bands believe me i do im an old school metal fan but over kill has been consistent and amazing long live the kill bitches!!

Why weren't these guys as mainstream as Anthrax? To me they fall between Anthrax and Metallica. They have the rawness and fun that Anthrax does with a tightness that Metallica has. I know they made it in there own way, which most importantly meant that they were able to get this music out there for a living, however these guys deserve a bit more of the spoils if they didn't get them. I know they do well in Europe and travel exstensively. Maybe it's better for the music they aren't Metallica.

@abloom1970 I am the biggest OVerkill fan ever but some folks didn't like Bobby's high pitched voice. Even though his wasn't that high. During their hey day metal was saturated with so many freaking semi thrash bands with singers that sang higher than mount Everest. This unfortunately caused many die hards to turn off their ears after hearing the first vocal parts.
