all music is lyrical poetry, and the rap we know today what you call 'radio rap' came from rock. homos like lil wayne try to combine rap and rock but people like him are to pop, both rock and rap started as as somethin different that wasnt mainstream.. i think that good rap (the original stuff, not most of whats out there nowadays) and rock are two sides of the same coin
