Good Job Riverdale it feels good to hear a musical band not a bunch of musical barbarians who play in the style of the dark ages mundys mill diddnt sound to bad just a bit sloppy for my taste they need seriouse re evaluation on their band structure no woodwinds = no band this one goes to riverdale
@mmcush lets not forget though that riverdale tried to play this "sloppy" tune back at MMHS and completely fell apart to where the whole band ended on all types of different times(on something like vice versa smh) and Mr. Pla had to sit them down...MMHS had to do what it had to because of them being so small this year and the balance issues they already had..Not sayin riverdale wasnt good..but they werent too hot either..especially with folks who didnt have to switch instr. like MMHS did
@mmcush you need to seriously re-evaluate the way you structure your comments. Don't get on here teaching these kids/musical students that having woodwinds in a band equals having structure. Don't have them thinking that woodwinds (even if they don't play or perform well) makes your band better, simply by having them either. I've heard bands with no clarinets, sax's, mellos or b-tones & they made it sound awesome :-) Great job to both bands :-)
i must respond on this becuz u talkin bout the mill...alumni from mundys mill in da house...riverdale......really?? yall aint never touched the mill...2 i never heard riverdale and allstate in the same sentence...yea we a all brass band and wit minor numbers...still cant hear yall and....mayb it was alil noisy fa ya...my opinion...get some ear plugs...Btone Dunlap checkin in...ask about me...
