Oh well, take it i'll be bying this when it's released..hope they don't just fill it with cutscenes...yes the cutscenes in MGS have previously been too long and drawn out...an excuse to use 2nd/3rd gen graphics. I.m.o a complete waste of time when the kojima could be making metal gear more badass. i.e - increased difficultly/actions and overall gameplay...anyone else agree??

Metal Gear Solid is about stealth, and storyline, not difficulty or showing off graphics. It's less about gameplay, more about events.

Actually, MGS has always been about showing off graphics. I mean, its hard to see now, but remember when the PS2 first came out and you saw Sons of Liberty and you were like, that cannot be rendered real time. Even MGS3 was good for its time, I mean Final Fantasy always had one up on MGS, mainly because they had prerendered cutscenes. MGS was always about real time graphics, and they were usually really good.

Polyphony Digital presents probably the best "real time graphics". I don't remember about Gran Turismo or GT2, but I do remember GT3 and GT4 were really amazing itself.

MGS4 has the best most realistic graphics since. There are games like cCrysis or Uncharted with good graphics, but not as realistic and real-like. Also, GT5 has stunning cars and tracks, but backgrounds are less detailed and, besides, it practically has cars. Not faces or expressions.

Her artwork is good, it's just that the art is full of too many scribbles. And computer animated cutscenes take a lot more work than drawings. Plus, they didn't do any frame drawings, they moved the artwork across the screen instead of actually animating it.

Considering that each of Wood's scenes are hand painted on canvas, I dunno how you figured they were drawings. I've read some of his stuff, one scene can take up to 8 hours to assemble. Most MGS cgi scenes are just made using the game's existing engine, they're done in a far quicker time.

They have to do less with more basically, but thats what the story writers have been good at with the Metal Gear Cold War stories, a lot of the stories are good at showing and explaining what was happening at the time. They also did a great job of making Big Boss an anti hero instead of a full blown villain. The problem with 4's story was that they tried to answer too many questions, and forgot to really tell a story. so hopefully peacewalker will bring back some faith in the MGS timeline

I think There is going to be 2 or 3 more metal gear games besides this one, MGS rising, if people like the "lighting bolt action" they might do another similar game (I hope with gray fox) and the last MGS game, I suppose MGS5, will be set in the period between mid 70s (peace walker project) and the first metal gear game period (1995), we will obviously play as Big Boss in the greatest years of his military career as the leader of Outer Heaven and FoxHound and his early connection with snake.

en MGS3, cuando caes a la cueva despues de luchar contra ocelot, si llamas por codec a EVA, te cuenta la historia de ocelot, como nacio, y que sus padres son heroes de guerra. The boss nunca sabe que es su hijo, porque se lo quitaron al nacer. Tambien, como su padre es the sorrow, adquiere cierta de su hablidad de medium, asi es como liquid toma su mente en MGS2. Pero esto es solo un apunte que creo yo xD.

Ocelot, no tiene esa habilidad, fue gracias a que le implantaron, no recuerdo que es exactamente, pero le implantaron la personalidad de Liquid, es por ello que liquid en cierta forma toma posecion del cuerpo de ocelot, eso se ve en el Metal Gear 4

En el MGS4, liquid no aparece, es ocelot que a traves de un labado de cerebro, le hacen que actue como liquid, pero liquid solo aparece en MGS1 y MGS2, si no fijate como el brazo es una protesis de hierro o algun metal, en cambio en el 2 es el brazo de carne.

ME baje el pack, y alli dicen todo eso, que Liquid murio, pero solamente la personalidad de liquid vive en ocelot...

Just like Zero, he doesn't want to let Big Boss go because he needs an Idol, a hero, to motivate him. Big Mama said it too.
