3:04- That is the classic view of Atlanta that is shown on "House of Pain" & "Meet the Browns" Corrects... How much would it cost to stay in those Apeartments to the right......
The first time I drove into Atlanta from the south in 1963, I75/I85 was 4 lanes wide. Even then, passing in the grass seemed to be standard procedure.
Got to watch yourself through the Atlanta Airport area: College Park, East Point and Hapeville are ever prevalent. College Park especially.
Usually when I get onto the Downtown Connector (from I-85 North), I divert onto the SR 166 (Langford Parkway) C/D network. The reason being is that the I-85 North to I-75 North ramp is usually backed up... because people don't know how to/care to merge properly.
That message board, just before Cleveland Avenue -- which sometimes reads "Right Lane Exit Only - 1 Mile Ahead" -- causes many an unfamiliar driver to merge left when they don't have to.

that I-75 is something else if you don't know your way around.

You get the best view of Atlanta coming from 75 South... especially at night right before you descend before hitting the Grady Curve.

Didn't you have another video in Atlanta that played "Highway Star"? I couldn't seem to find it now. Good video, BTW.
MrViolinMusic88 3 years ago
Yes, it was taken down by the copyright police a few weeks ago :(
Freewayjim 3 years ago
Darn. I was afraid of that. I liked that video.

That's a shame the 'Highway Star' video was taken down, as that was one I really liked!

Am I going crazy? Have you used this song on another of your videos?
Good as always.

Thanks, I used this song in ONE other video about 18 months ago.

That's what I thought. I knew I heard that song somewhere before.
[and I'm amazed at how fast that comment was replied to]

Thanks!
I've done what you described at the Langford Parkway exit many times, it's a nice privilege for us locals :)

You're welcome.
That message board, just before Cleveland Avenue -- which sometimes reads "Right Lane Exit Only - 1 Mile Ahead" -- causes many an unfamiliar driver to merge left when they don't have to.
And, yeah, a very nice privilege. :)
