  • What bothers me is the wider picture, somewhere along the line this guy has got this misinformation from someone else. His picture is taken hundreds of times a day on CCTV, he should be more worried about that!

  • Seen this man on cbbc mr tumble anyone else seen him

  • To be fair guys the street performer is an idiot telling people not to take pictures of him, but did you not have anything better to do than stand around desperately trying to provoke him? In my opinion it makes you guys look like idiots too. Just let him get on with it.

  • @tamesidedave1 We did have plenty better to do, we were part of the national free hugging event that was going on right next to him (not apparent in the video and we booked our space way before the day) he kept coming over to us, annoying us and threatening us just because we were filming the general area! and every time he did i switched the camera on. I understand you opinion is based on what you see in the video, not what happened before, or in the gaps inbetweeen editing!

  • This is a fantastic video and really shows how mixed up things have become!

So many conflicting views and attempts to 'bully' you...

    -sharing- ;-)

  • @AlexFate101 Thanks Alex :-)

I have no bad feelings towards him, the security guards or any of the bullys leaving nasty comments, on reflection, the video doesn't show the whole story and I can understand, in a way, why some people have seen us as the antagonists, certainly wasn't the case on the day! You are right though, the world has gone topsy turvey! It is my intent to bring the realisation that 'Love' is, always has been, and always will be, the only thing that ever matters in this life.

  • one thing i have learned from filming on the street is when someone asks not to be filmed i turn the camera to myself and record the audio this calms the the situation in my experience

its hard to remain calm in situations like this well done kroaky

but next time just film yourself and the audio of the aggressor is my advice cos you know the private security will always back up the local as these guys did

    peace

  • i am a performer and this performer had what he deserve... he is not on a bad mood he realy his a not normal persone... thank for the video

  • @MissFarytales Thank you, yes, i'm a performer too, and for a performer to not want his picture taken seemed really alien to me! I had nothing against the guy, but he just kept coming at me, which is the only reason I kept the camera going! If he had kept to himself and left us alone, the camera would have never been turned on.

  • This sort of thing really annoys me. You only need permission to film on the Southbank if you are using a tripod. If not, there should be absolutely no problem. That 'street performer' is a joke. I want to go down there now and film him!

  • @WePuTtHeMdOwN Do it!!! :-D

  • OMG ITS MICHAEL JACKSON! 6:02

  • @ThatsrightiplayWoW Yes, he faked his death and went to work on the south bank!!

  • @Kroaky Its what all the stars do, even Elvis was there.

  • We would have hapilly left him alone. It was he that kept coming back for more.

But the point I would make is. If you are going to dress for the purpose of entertaining. Go to a tourist site to obtain donations for your entertainment, then surly you would expect the odd camara to be pointed at you.

No? If ya can't take the heat, get out of the kichen.

  • @razzinitup

"... you would expect the odd camara to be pointed at you"

fair point, you should expect - at the least - a few tourists taking snaps, but you did keep the argument going by insisting on your 'right' to take his picture, humiliating him by telling the crowd (through your megaphone no less) he was a mad man and then going as far as to post it up on the internet.

Genuine question - what was the point in posting it here on youtube??? Is it to further humiliate him???

  • @JaquesPaul As far as i'm concerned, if you are going to act intimidating and threaten to break someones property, you deserve it to be put on youtube! We could have pushed it further and made a breach of the peace complaint. If he had been peaceful with a bit of a sense of humour i'm sure this video could have turned out a lot differently! And the end of the day you have your opinon and we have ours, I see it from his point of view too, but he was out of order the way he went about it!

  • @Kroaky

i am not sayin' he was right or you were wrong in any legal sense, just that you escalated the situation by trying to involve the crowd in your argument, trying to get them on your side, using your megaphone to humiliate him by telling the crown he is a mad man.

Sure he was an aggressive prick, but you guys don't come out looking too clever either, and then to post it up on youtube, this is just some pissed off guy in a bad mood, I would have let him be.

  • @JaquesPaul Well I guess if I'm honest, as I was filming I had the idea in my head that it could turn out to be a youtube video, because of the ridiculousness of the situation, so maybe we were playing up to the camera a bit. Either way, it's done now, it's in the past. I'v seen less interesting videos out there! I'm not out to look clever either, in fact most of my videos, I go out of my way to act the fool.

  • pretty sad stuff, the street entertainer was obviously havin' a bad day, i would have just left him alone, no need to wind him up, and then post it up on the internet, what good does this do???

  • @JaquesPaul What good does it do? It entertains, he was an entertainer after all. We tried leaving him alone, he just kept coming back and winding us up, so the camera went on!

  • @JaquesPaul I think it's possible you may have the same type of personality.

Kroaky and his friends never approached him. He was the one who started the confrontation and wouldn't go away. If you're having a bad day you should stay home and not share it with everyone else. Why would this guy want to go to this type of event anyway? From my point of view, he just hates white guys, and probably creates issues wherever he goes.

  • Well the dude with the golden hat got what he was seeking... AT..TENSION

  • Who is he kidding??? Of course he wanted his picture taken, or he would have just walked away. He wants attention...anyway he can get it.

  • He was a angry man......!!!

  • doesn't look or feel like private property to me....

  • i think you lot need to take a chill pill its just one stupid man with a bright gold hat who cares,5+++++ kroaky.

  • You are right Kroaky, but it would have been better to just leave him alone imo.

  • @WASDsweden We were leaving him alone, we never even took his picture, he kept on coming over to argue with us, so the camera went on as evidence!

  • he just wants your money!!!!! he definately needs a hug!!! big hugs xxxxxx
