  • It's a shame, but a year later, it has become very clear that President Obama is nowhere near as smart as way too many people thought he was, and neither are his advisors. His months of inaction regarding the Gulf oil spill is inexplicable otherwise, and his inaction grows more unforgiveable with every day that passes. He's still most excellent at delivering platitudes read off teleprompters, though those speeches, more and more, say less and less. At least it's only for one term now.

  • The problem wtih liberals is they are always on the wrong side of human rights. About US citizens who will be murdered and maimed by scum like this if they are brought into the United States? Somehow, stupid lib judges will let them go free in America, and Americans will pay the price for dumb decisions made by the morons in Washington.

  • LOL stupid Americans elected a retarded cowboy named Bush and now they elect a monkey.

    Whats next?

    hahahahahaahahha

  • I wonder why he is not fighting for our human rights here in this country. He is not a supporter of the constitution and his very own grandmother says he is not a natural born U.S. citizen. How is he the president, he does not qualify under the very constitution he claims to support. Let the criminals at Guantanamo Bay and stifle our rights here at home. Since elected the stock market has fallen to record lows. It takes more than words to lead a nation.

  • oh please - human rights are as absurd as the conditions that facilitate them.

nevertheless, the sad truth is this: another 8 years of Bush would have been ultimately better for Human Rights because those willing to pursue on the hardline simply won't under Obama.

  • wow, thats actually the smartest thing I have heard all month, mind if I quote you?

  • Doesn't it just piss you off when conservatives try to compare him to hitler but then say how different he is to Kenedy what a bunch of morons anyways my state was red =( despite the fact i got 13 votes rallied up by myself for obama we lost by a wide margin

  • He will not tear down the structure that has been established, and the republicans won't either, how long will it take before people realize that these guys are scamming the people. They will do exactly what their owners tell them to do just like they have since the turn of the last century. The only hope you have is to stop being scared, turn off your tvs and start thinking for yourselves.

  • I sure hope you are right. It will take some strong actions on President Obama's part to dig us out of the abysmal state of affairs that we, as a nation, have been dragged into. Time will tell if he will walk to walk or just said what needed to be said to get elected.

  • Yet again I am stunned by this sweeping victory! I'm still just to emotional. Long live President Obama!!!

  • In just 77 days the Bush Dynasty will end. George can return to the brown brown grass of his Texas home. Cheney would dowell to book a flight on Emeritas Airlines to Dubai, where Halburton headquarters are located. His crimes in office should be investigated thoroughly by the new attourney general.

  • Maybe we can send him to France, where they have an arrest warrant waiting for him,on those war crimes things.

  • Barack Obama has given us hope, true Christian compassion, and a better future for our children. We ALL need to work with him to implement the dream. Thank goodness we will have a President who embraces our Constitution, and as you said Taranau, "Power to the People." We the People will once more have a voice in our nation. SPEAK LOUDLY AND OFTEN!!!

  • I think the major reason McCain lost,is that he has the same problem W Bush does.He lacks the charisma and will that is needed to help the country lift itself up out this muck and mire,W-nomics has gotten it into.He is not willing to stand up to those that got us here.Obama WILL be doing that!..Obama KNOWS,politics and business as usual will NOT do.And THAT'S whats going to make the big difference.

  • A better future for the children that are allowed to be born during his administration! Many more will be killed in abortion on demand. He does not embrace the Constitution - he says it's flawed! He wants to change it. He does not love our country and neither does his wife. I only hope his win makes the Republican party wake up and make needed changes. God help us.

  • Yes!We!Did! :)

Now the hard work begins, but with hope and a leader who really cares.

  • Obama is no puppet. I have faith in him. Yet we citizens of the world should keep our feet on the ground. THe Bush regime has made so many obscenities that correcting them will not happen in a day or two. Especially in foreign policy.

I believe in Obama and hope he will get the whole world back on it's feet as soon as possible

  • Some economists have pointed out, that the "recent" Wall Street Debacle was twenty years in the making, and could take that long to fix.Hopefully,it does not take as long as eight years to fix the Debacle of the W Administration and the sh*tbrained,ham-handed approach to everything it did.

  • Now comes the true test. Will we get the Obama we've been hoping for?Or do we get the Obama,as others on Youtube claim, that is nothing more than a puppet of the greedy globalizers?..I'm going to quasi-quote a few people here. "Never give up,never surrender. And the dream will never die." "Power to the people."

  • I read the posts before writing mine (which is separate from this reply), and "Power to the People" jumped out at me. It has been a long time since anyone mentioned it. We The People now have a voice in our nation and have elected a President who respects us and will listen. Thanks.

  • A gigantic and enormous job ahead, not easy but achievable. I could not find an area from human rights to finances to health care and deteriorating economy and and and. But it takes one genius to straighten it and I hope and wish that he can, yes we can.

  • yes! it's off to work!! against a wall with plenty of bricks knocked out of it, shiaaoooo

  • As Obama said: YES WE CAN!!!!and thank god the (dictator)Bush era is over...

  • This issues will only be dealt with promptly if we keep the pressure on from the bottom so they don't get pushed back because of the economic crisis.

  • Now This shifting of energy that you feel Is calling to what is known and real Devoid of delusions and oppression A Being reaching beyond suppression To be free of false limitation To be moved by truth and creation NOW the call and the command to hear A nation freed of the shackles of fear Ours a destiny of freedom and love divine Beyond the ravages of confusion and time Visions of peace and abundance to be The real, the known, our promised destiny.
  • wonderful... this is how I feel.

  • I am so happy! Long live true democracy!

    Moira

  • Thank God the election's over. Now we get to work.
